Its been a few days since we've been back home. My parents are still on their honeymoon so it's just been me and my siblings at the house. My parents trusted me and Mir to stay home and take care of the rest of our siblings which is what we've been doing, but Kahlil's a fucking handful.
He thinks he doesn't have to listen to one of us because we're not mom or pops which is not true. Mom left us in charge so he has to listen. The twins are staying with my grandma, Linda until they get back but she comes and checks on us everyday or every other day. No one in the house wants to feed Lady, Auna's snake so we've been having to pay for someone to come feed her.
I was currently on my way to Faiths house. Mir's been having to drive my parents truck so he can get Mya and nem from and to school since his car is only a 2 door. Once I pulled up I got out grabbing my things before locking the car and heading up to the door unlocking it using my key she gave me.
"Honey I'm home" I yelled. I didn't get a response so I took my shoes off jogging upstairs.
I walked in her room seeing she was sleep. I turned back around about to leave.
"Where you going?" she asked lowly
"Home" I said
"Nah come here" she said turning on her back
I smiled before closing the door and getting undressed so I wouldn't have my outside clothes on her bed. I crawled in the bed laying on her chest.
"Why you ain't come to school today? Everything okay?" I asked
"Yeah I'm just sick so I ain't feel like going" she said clearing her throat
"Ohh okay, did you take some medicine?" I asked
"No I ain't got none so I've been just fighting it out" she coughed pulling me closer
"Faith you need to take some medicine" I said
"I will"
"When ?" I asked
"Whenever I go buy some"
"Mmcht, have you even eaten anything today?"
"Uhm no"
"Ima go to the store and get you somethings and stop to get you some food" I said getting out the bed and putting my clothes back on
"No ma stay I need you" she said dramatically
"I'm coming back" I said
"No" she dragged out
"Get up then and come with me" I said tying my shoes before standing up and grabbing my purse
"I don't feel like going in the store" she said
"Then don't stay in the car or stay here" I said
"Fine" she said getting up and going in her drawer putting on some sweats and a shirt
"I'll be in the car don't forget to set the alarm" I said before walking out the room
I walked out the house getting in my car waiting for her. After a while she came out getting in the backseat.
"Why you back there ?" I asked looking at her through the rear view mirror
"I wanna lay down" she said making me nod
I played some music then pulled off to the store. Once I pulled up I got my stuff then rolled down the window leaving her in the car before getting out and locking it. I grabbed a basket placing my purse in the baby part before walking around getting everything I needed.
