I'm in the middle of getting ready for Faiths graduation. I can't believe my baby's graduating I'm so proud of her.
I wore a white long sleeve fitted dress along with some black heels. I grabbed my clutch putting everything I need in it before checking the time on my phone seeing that if I moved any slower I'd be late. My parents and them already left I was going to meet them there. I double checked that I had everything before grabbing my poster that I made and my keys then heading downstairs.
I rushed out the house locking the door behind me. I unlocked the car putting my stuff in then getting in and putting my seatbelt on. I pulled out the gate starting the drive to the school.
My phone begin to ring making me pull over and answer it before driving off again.
"Hello" I said
"Where you at?" Faith voice boomed through the car speaker since my phone was connected to the bluetooth
"I'm on my way bae" I said
"Alright well we all waiting for you in the front of the school"
"Okay well I'll be there shortly" I said
"Fasho I love you drive safe" she said
"I love you too see you soon" I said before hanging up
After a while of driving and stopping at the store to pick up flowers I finally pulled up. I parked getting out grabbing my phone and putting it in my clutch. I went around to the backseat grabbing the poster, flowers, and the money necklace. I locked my car before sliding my keys in my clutch. I looked both ways before crossing the street then rushed over to where everyone was.
"Hey sorry I made you guys wait there was traffic and I had to stop at the store" I said all in one breath
"It's fine baby calm down" Faith said before kissing my lips as I put the necklace around her neck.
"Thanks mama"
I smiled before looking up seeing some people I never seen before.
"Papa, grandma, Nova this is my girlfriend Kahmari, Kahmari this is my father, my little sister, and my grandma" Faith said introducing us
I feel so embarrassed right now. First I'm late second I didn't know I was meeting her family today third I just feel a mess.
"Hi nice to meet you guys" I said shaking their hands
"You too" her father said
"Let's head inside before you be late" her grandma said
I looked over at my parents.
"Why you guys ain't give me a heads up her family way coming" I said
"It was a surprise"
"No I just embarrassed myself" I said
"You didn't embarrass yourself. Did better than me the first time I met Tre's mom" my mom said making my dad laugh
"What happened?" I asked curios
"She found us having sex in the car in her driveway" my mom said shaking her head
"Ew" Mya said
"Y'all trifling" I laughed
"Baby ima go take my seat I love you"
"I love you too" I kissed her lips
She walked off and we all went to go find a seat close to the front so we could see her walk the stage. Mir had to handle something apparently so he wasn't here. It was just me, Kahlil, the twins, and Mya.
