~~~A Short Tale Of A Single Father~~~
 Bill and Adelaide separated themselves from the group during their way home. Richie, Stan and Eddie all lived on different streets, leaving Bill and Adelaide to continue their way home together and alone. She liked it when she could spend alone time with Bill. Was it selfish? Maybe. But she didn't really care. Whenever the two would cycle, whether just for fun around town or to go home or to school, there was always an unspoken sweetness in the air.
  Bill was tall but he had an ever taller bike he had bought some time ago. Silver, was what he called it. When he first bought it, everyone looked at him as though he was crazy, like he wanted to kill himself riding that bike. Adelaide was with him when he first rode it and she thought he almsot did kill himself. He had fallen a lot of times and had bruises and cuts around his kneecaps and shins. Even after he had gotten used to it, Adelaide still didn't think she would ever ride behind on it.
 Adelaide liked riding a bicycle. Especially during spring and summer. Those were the only times she was allowed to use a bike. During autumn, Derry would rain heavily almost the whole season and during winter, the temperature would get too cold, her father wouldn't let her use her bicycle.
 The ride home after school specifically was just divine. The early breeze of summer wind tingled her skin and her hair would have gotten quite messy had she not secured it with a claw clip. The smell of the fresh greens that surrounded the town was absolutely refreshing in a way that could make you feel like you're living in a remote island somewhere on the Pacific Ocean, not that Adelaide really knew what that felt like. But she imagined it was something like how she felt during her summer bike rides, but maybe a little more peaceful when you add the sound of waves crashing onto the shore.
 Most of all, she supposed, she liked it on that day because Bill was there. She liked how the summer ray would shine on his short brown hair that made it look slightly auburn. The way his soft skin would glow in the sunlight, and how his eyes were like pools of honey and caramel under the shining of the sun.
 She liked how his leaning tall figure moved when he biked, and how the front of his hair would bounce a little as he pedaled the silver, well taken care of bike. But she loved when he would glance over his shoulder to meet her, how his smile lighted up and his eyes squinted, and how he would slow down the pace of his pedals to let her catch up to him.
 As the two got on the street of their homes, Bill stopped his cycling altogether and climbed down. Adelaide followed his movements and the two walked beside each of their bikes, and Bill had his hand covering his eyes, like a visor, to avoid direct contact to the sun when he looked at her. She saw him eye her and furrowed her brows, wondering what he was looking at and why he wasn't walking ahead.
"Everything okay?" She asked with skepticism.
"Yeah. Did Bowers h-h-hurt you, just now?" His tone was full of concern.
