~~~The Nightmare In The Garage~~~
"Guys, the w-w-windows," Bill pointed, giving instructions to the Losers who had arrived.
They were all in his garage and he had the door closed, allowing light to enter only through the window panes. Even then, he had asked the others to drape cloths over the windows and any light sources, leaving the room in utter darkness.
The only light that glowed in the room was that of the projector that belonged to Bill. As promised, Ben brought along with him the film that Bill inserted into one of the slots of the projector after taping a map on the wall in front of them.
Once the room was set up, eveeryone took their respective spots facing the blank wall that was lighted by the projector. Eddie sat on a small stool the furthest front, making him shorter than everyone else. Stan sat on a taller stool behind Eddie with Richie on Stan's left side. Mike stood behind Richie and Stan.
On Mike's left was Adelaide, standing between Mike and Bill, a hand placed on Richie's left shoulder. On Bill's left was Beverly who sat on a stool, the same kind as Stan and Richie's. Ben sat a little in front of Beverly, on a shorter stoll but not as short as Eddie's. The projected map overlaid the paper map Bill had taped on the wall and he slightly fixed the position of the projector to properly align the two.
"Look," Bill pointed ahead. "That's where G-Georgie disappeared," he gulped. Everyone followed his gaze and the pointing of his finger to a crossed spot on the map that was labelled, 'STORM DRAIN'. "There's the Ironworks," he added, changing the direction his finger pointed to. "And the Black Spot," he pointed again to the crossed spot labelled, 'THE BLACK SPOT'. "Everywhere It happens, it's all connected by the s-s-sewers," he went on, lowering down his hand as he explained, slightly causing Adelaide to frown and feel little shivers. "And they all meet up at-"
"The well house," Ben perked up.
Adelaide could feel curiousity brewing in her body but she could also feel the fear, clearer than ever before. Her breathing deepened as she stared blindly at the map which had a small house. Underneath it was labelled, 'WELL HOUSE'. There were red lines that was printed on the map. Red lines that connected the other black lines, all having a constant, which was the well house.
"It's in the house on Neibolt Street," Stan softly explained, gaining most of the others' attention.
"You mean that creepy ass house where all the junkies and hobos like to sleep?" Richie scoffed, shifting in his seat to look at Bill and Adelaide.
Just then, Eddie took a hard puff of his inhaler and Adelaide grew worried at the sight of the boy who looked like he was almost crying. "Eddie, you okay?"
"I hate that place," Beverly uttered lowly but loud enough for everyone to hear. "I always feel like It's watching me," she shuddered and though Adelaide's mind was preoccupied with concern for Eddie, she couldn't help but understand exactly what Beverly meant about the abandoned house.
