~~~Something About Derry~~~
"Newsflash, Ben. School's out for summah!" Richie exclaimed in an Australian newsreel impression as he searched through Ben's backpack full of papers, attracting Adelaide and everyone else's attention. Adelaide leaned forward, looking over Richie's shoulders just like Bill did, looking over Ben's shoulders.
"Oh, that? That's not school stuff," Ben straightened his body off the step that he was leaning on.
Richie took out a Derry postcard, scoffing out, "Who sent you this?"
He turned it around but before he could read anything off it, Ben snatched it away, muttering, "No one!" But Adelaide's eyes were sharp and she managed a glimpse of a name familiar to her, written in a scribbly handwriting; Bev Marsh.
Richie took out a green folder from Ben's bag. There were white papers sticking out of the sides confinements. "Richie, stop bothering his stuff," Adelaide sighed, sending an spologetic smile to Ben's way.
 Nevertheless, Richie ignored the girl's warning and turned the folder sideways. He opened the top and it revealed a printed copy of an old newspaper with the headline that read 'EASTER EXPLOSION KILLS 88 CHILDREN, 102 TOTAL'. Adelaide's eyes scanned the headline and she felt chills rushing down her spine and she knew it was not due to Stan's light breathing over her neck. Though that brought heat to her instead.
"What's with the history project?" Eddie has asked, his head leaning over Stan's legs to read.
 Richie turned the folder around to read another copy of another old newspaper front page. But this time, the headline read 'FIVE MASSACRED IN BROAD DAYLIGHT'. Richie closed the folder and handed it over to Bill as Ben explained.
"Oh when I first moved here, I didn't have anyone to hang out with, so I just started spending time in the library," he said, sounding almost saddened by himself.
"You went to the library?" Richie's voice was in shock as he looked at Ben then to Adelaide, before frowning, and adding, "On purpose?"
Adelaide rolled her eyes and flicked the back of his head, and he rubbed it to dull the pain. "Oh, I wanna see," Beverly giddied over from the ground to sit beside Bill.
"What's the Black Spot?" Stanley asked, looking at a black and white picture of a building from another folder.
There was a red writing, probably Ben's, in red, at the top. It read 'THE BLACK SPOT'. '1962' was written under it. "The black spot was a nightclub that was burned down years ago by that racist cult," Eddie answered.
"The Maine Legion of White Decency, right?" Adelaide furrowed her brows at Ben who was focused gaping at Beverly.
It was Eddie who nodded with a, "Yeah."
"The what?" Stanley asked, confused.
"Don't you watch Geraldo?" Eddie spat and Adelaide giggled when Stanley rolled his eyes at the smaller boy.
