~~~No More Losers Club~~~
"You! You did this!" Mrs Kaspbrak pointed accusingly towards the Losers.
They had managed to bring Eddie back home. His mother was already worrying for him and at the sight of her son looking beaten up with a broken arm, she grew more worried and angry.
The other losers were standing in a group on the front lawn, watching as the fleshy woman handled Eddie by gripping the back of his neck, away from his friends. Most of the Losers couldn't even look up as guilt overtook them.
"You know how delicate he is!" She huffed, walking over to her car.
"We were attacked, M-M-M-Mrs K," Bill tried to let out.
"No. Don't," she interrupted, shoving Eddie into the passenger seat before slamming the door.
From the window, Adelaide could see Eddie crying alone, his eyes looking down at his broken arm. More than anything, she wanted to give him a hug and tell him that he will be okay.
But she couldn't. She prayed that he would look up so she could at least tell him that from a smile or from her eyes but his watery gaze was only looking down.
"Don't try and blame anyone else," the older woman glared down at Bill.
"We're not. Please, just let us explain," Adelaide pleaded, gaining Mrs Kaspbrak's attention.
"Didn't I tell you not to go anywhere near my boy? You're a slut, Miss Flint and you are never seeing my son again!" She hissed, causing Adelaide's body to rise in anger.
"She's n-n-n-not a slut!" Bill protested, taking a step in front of Adelaide.
Mrs Kaspbrak eyed him up and down, her face contoreted with disgust as she shook her head. "None of you are ever seeing my son again!"
She fumbled with the car keys angrily and her sloppiness got the best of her as the set fell from her hands onto the pavement. Beverly bent down, trying to pick it up, "Let me help."
"GET BACK!" She brought out a hand to stop Beverly from going any further. Her hands snatched the keys off the ground before she looked at Beverly, a devillish grin across her face as she spat, "Oh, I've heard of you, Miss Marsh. And I don't want a dirty girl like you touching my son."
"Hey, you wanna say shit about me, fine. But don't you dare talk to her like that," Adelaide warned, slightly shoving Bill away to take a step forward. "Don't you have better things to do than slut-shame girls who aren't even half your age? Is your life really that pathetic?"
She was eye-to-eye with Mrs Kaspbrak. The older woman was certainly not pleased. Before Adelaide knew it, a large hand struck across her right cheek in a harsh slap.
Pain stung her unexpectedly as heat of anger drowned her. Everyone was taken aback by the sudden assault by Mrs Kaspbrak, even her own son.
"MA!" Eddie managed to yell but his voice was distant due to the thickness of the car window.
