The Next Step Highschool

Chapter 1

Michelle's POV

I arrive at The Nest Step Highschool (TNS High) My mom and dad got divorced. Mom lives in Madison and I'm living with my dad right now. I am having some thoughts on what it will be like to be the new girl. Worst of all it's senior year. Going to a new school on the last year is the worst! What if I make friends? What if I don't make any? What if I'm gonna be alone, no friends- MICHELLE STOP THINKING THAT WAY! I walk through the doors and to the front office.

I open up a door and there's a women with blonde hair and on the front of her desk reads: Kate Wasylenko. "Hi I'm Michelle I'm new." I say sticking my hand out. The women looks up from her desk and smiles. "Good morning Michelle. It's a pleasure to meet you I'm Principle Wasylenko but you can call me Miss Kate." I smile and she hands me my schedual. Then a tall brunnet comes in looking a bit like Miss Kate.

"Oh my a new student! We must indroduce ourselves. I'm Phoebe the Vice Principle, and that is-" she gets cut off by Kate. "Thank you Phoebe she already knows who I am. Michelle this is my sister." I smile at her and shake her hand. 3 students come in the door. There's a 2 girls and 1 boy. There is a brunnete that looks like some red hair dye, another brunnete who's hair is lighter but she's shorter than all 3 of them and then the guy with black hair. "Hi I'm Riley this is Chloe and that is West." The girl points out who is named RIiley. "Michelle, I just transfered from Madison." We get to know abit about each other and one thing is that we all like dance. I head out the door with them and I bump into someone. He has blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Whoa! Are you okay" he asks looking concerned. "I"m okay I'm such a cluts I can also take a hit, I played sports with my friend and her brother back in Madison. So no need to worry" I look up at him and he smiles. "ELDON!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?" Eldon I guess which is him spins around and I look behind him and a girl with short blonde hair about the same height as me stomps over to us. "leave my boyfriend alone!" she snarls. I back up putting my hands in defense.

"Emily calm down okay she didn't know." Riley exclaims stepping beside me. "RIley shut up okay. Oh a new kid well just so you know I'm Emily and this is my school so don't get in my way!" Then she and some others stomp by. She grabs Eldon by the arm. He looks back at me and smiles.

"as you can tell Riles sister is pretty mean." Chloe says while pointing at her. "No kidding." I'm in shock Riley is so sweet and Emily is so mean. West pops up. "so the black haired one is Stephanie, Emily's BFF. You've already met Eldon. Those two boys re ELdon's bros: Daniel and James." I nod slowly. "And then that's TIffany another popular." Riley points out. "And then Giselle another popular girl. They call themselves the "E-Girls" because all their names end in an e. Then there's Beth James's girlfriend" Chloe spits it out as if it was poison. Chloe and West go off to get something. I"m standing there with Riley.

So those are the populars. "What about Giselle and Beth their names don't end in an E?"

"They call her Ellie and Bethie" wow Bethie sounds pathetic.

"well your names end in E as well"

"I'm never going to be an e-girl. And neigther does Chloe and you wouldn't want to either."

"okay" i smile I take a look at her schedual.

"We have the same classes!" Riley squeals. I laugh she pulls me into homeroom which is also filled with some populars. Riley pulls me into a seat. "so tell me some stuff about yourself".

"I moved from Madison, I have an older brother named Hunter and an older sister named Amanda and we look nothing like siblings at all but trust me we're not adopted! We all LOVE to dance, my fave colour is pink, I've been dancing since I was 3 and my dream is to become a full pro on DWTS."

Riley looks at me impressed. "wow okay my turn I have an older sister who you've met, my face colours are blue and purple, I also LOVE to dance, I was inspired to dance because of my sister. I also have a crush on someone." She blushes at the end. "Is it a popular?" She shrugs but her blush makes it obvious. "It's James's isn't it." She goes wide eye and covers my mouth. "how did you know!?" I smile. "The way you look at him."

She asks me if I wanted to be her best friend. Of course I said yes. Maybe this year won't be so bad.

So how is it? I'm not gonna be updating every other day unlike other users because I'm gonna start to get really busy with school and school does comes first. I'll try to update every week if not maybe more then a week but the max will be 1 chap per week. When I don't have much homework I will be updating more!
