Chapter 14

Riley's POV

*the next day at school, last block*

We are all stretching and are running over routine(s). The one who I'm really excited to see are Michelle and Hunter's. They had to do double the amount of dance that all of us had got.

I look over and I see practicing a lift or something that looks complicating. I see Eldon starring at her. It's totally obvious that he likes her.

"alright children gather around." Phoebe says coming out of her office and into the gym.

We all stand in front of her. Next to our partners.

"so we can either choose randomly, people can volunteer, we can make a list, or we will go in the order that the duet partners are in."

Everyone decided that we would pick out a list in advance.

"okay so who wants to go first?" Phoebe asks.

Eldon volunteers first. The order that it goes is:

Eldon+Emily, Beth+Stephanie, Daniel+Chloe, Abbi+Noah, Cass+Cierra, Morgan+Skylar, Richelle+Becca, Tiffany+Thalia, Amanda+Max, Giselle+West, Riley+James and Michelle+Hunter.

Eldon and Emily go first and their lyrical was really good. Beth and Stephanie....alright, Daniel and Chloe ballet is totally their thing! Abbi and Noah also really good, Cass and Cierra I loved the ending.

Morgan and Skylar were great, Richelle and Becca their totally going to make a regional or even more national team one day. Tiffany and Thalia great as well, Amanda and Max had a few lifts that were amazing, Giselle and West were flipping everywhere.

"thank you break dancers, Riley and James." Phoebe calls out.

We go up and Michelle gets our music into the speakers. We are dancing to the song apologize.

The song starts and our connection automatically brings us together. Whenever our bodies touch I feel this shock/spark that always. After our ending James comes and picks me up and spins us around.

"awww!" I hear Michelle and Hunter teasing us.

We stop and glare at them.

"what you guys are such a cute couple." Hunter protests.

We roll our eyes as Michelle and Hunter stand up and hand us their music.

"so as some of you know Phoebe gave us an extra dance." Michelle started explaining.

"so we will do our contemporary first and then our around 1 minute and a half salsa." Hunter adds.

They start dancing to the song "Work Song"~Hozier. And all I can say is wow. For siblings that always fight or trick each other and lock each other out of the house it doesn't look like that.

They did quite a few lifts and it was outstanding might I say. I was next to James and Eldon.

"wow.." James whispers in my ear in awe.

"they could win so many awards." Eldon whispered too.

After that it goes to another song called "Perfect" and they do some more lifts and moves that are a bit quicker than the other song.

Hunter's POV

When Michelle jumps into my arms we clutch each other tight. I'll admit we don't always get along but when it comes to dance we put all our feelings to each other away. That's our secret weapon.

We had to show a lot of emotion in our first song. When we were about to "kiss" we didn't but our noses touched but I always kiss her on the check so it wasn't that awkward.
