Chapter 5

Eldon's POV

It's lunch and I'm sitting in the cafe with my friends. I can't seem to get that blonde girl what's her name... ah Michelle. Yeah I just can't seem to stop thinking about her. Her hair is a lot more longer than Emily's and I could play with it some more.

"Eldon honey there you are." Emily comes up to me and hugs me from behind.

"um I'm always here this is our table." I say as she sits down in my lap.

Chloe's POV

I watch as Michelle, Riley and West talk. I know I know their my friends but I sort of have a crush on Hunter. Not major just a minor one. Maybe if I become a popular then Hunter will realize how great I am and will want to date me. I go over to the table and pull Emily aside.

"what do you need Chloe?" Emily asks rudely. Well at least she got my name.

"I wanna become a popular. That way Hunter will like me and I can try to sneak a date with him." I explain. She looks at me a bit stunned.

"And your willing to give up your friendship with Riley, West and the other one?" She asks crossing her arms.

"yes. yes I am." I reply crossing my arms.

She looks at me and then smiles. "you've got a deal. Welcome!"

I head on over to the table. Everyone welcomes me in. I know i left my friends but I feel like i have more power now. Like I could control them.

"EVERYONE LISTEN UP CHLOE IS NOW A POPULAR SO DON'T GET IN HER WAY!" Emily shouts.

I look over and I see Riley and West starring at me in disbelief. I mouth sorry to them and shrug my shoulders.

West's POV

I can't believe that just happened.

"did Chloe just join 'them'!" Riley exclaims.

I just nod and pull her into a hug. She pouts and wraps her arms around me. We don't like each other only as a brother and sister. Both Riley and Michelle are like my younger sisters and Hunter is like my bro. In the corner of my eye I see James starring down at us but he quickly looks away when I look. Hmm does he like Riles?

Michelle and Hunter come up to us and pull us into a hug.

"hey listen we're uh sorry about Chloe bro." Hunter says as he and I do a bro hug.

"don't worry, she didn't hang with us that much." I reply.

"hey do you two wanna come to our Family Movie or hang out night?" Michelle asks.

"what's that?" I ask.

Michelle smiles. "usually on Fridays we have a family night we usually watch a movie but sometime we go paint balling, bowling, zipline all kinds of stuff."

"cool yeah sure this Friday?" I ask.

"yeah if you can make it." Hunter buds in before Michelle can speak.

"yeah sure cool I can do that." I say. Riley nods as well.

"Great then we can text you guys the time and then you can show up." Michelle said pulling her phone out. "alright so there's gonna be a group chat on Family Night. That way we only talk about family night things on that chat."

"yeah and then me and West can have our own group chat!" Hunter exclaims.

"H-Hunter you don't need a group message you only need 1 message with him." Riley tells Hunter. Hunter looks confused.
