Chapter 7

Michelle's POV

After the bowling the girls win against the boys. Our mom and dad had to go back home because they have to go do something in Madison. Riley, West, Hunter and I all decide to go out and watch a movie. We enter the movie thethre and decide to go get tickets to The Longest Ride. (I personally haven't watched it yet) Riley and I went to go get popcorn while the boys got the tickets.

"so you excited for the movie?" Riley asks as we put extra butter on the popcorn.

"yeah oh course I watched the trailer and I really wanted to see it!" I exclaim.

We meet up with the boys and head into number 5. As we go to sit down I hear voices behind me. I turn and I see Emily and her squad. I'm guessing they see me too because Emily ten grabs Eldon's hand and kisses his check. She's trying to make me jealous. It's not gonna work she's just afraid that Eldon will soon like me.

"hey guys! what are you doing here?" James asks as he comes up to us.

"oh we went bowling and we came here." Riley replies shoving some popcorn into her mouth. James takes some out of the bag but Riley doesn't seem to mind. They both go in for some more and their hands touch. They pull away.

"sorry about that." Riley apologizes.

"don't even worry about it." James smiles.

Riley blushes and I nudge her. I then earn a tiny glare from her.

We sit a couple rows in front of Emily. James comes and sits next to me.

"so hows it going?" He asks.

"jesus relax lover boy you'll have her soon. But first I gotta make her look hot." I say.

"she doesn't need to look hot I'm sorry but I can't really see her hot." He said.

"oh just you wait it'll take some time but you might not be able to have her until Christmas."

He pouts but sighs. "fine if you can make her look stunning I'll wait."

James then gets out and goes up with his squad.

*skip until it's November*

Riley's POV

Right now I'm just sitting in the cafeteria when James comes up to me.

"so how have you been Riley?"

"I've been good how are you and Beth?" I ask.

He cringed when I said Beth I wonder why. She is his girlfriend. Maybe he doesn't like her. Oh my gosh that would be really great. I mean maybe he might like me. I'm not gonna lie I do have a massive crush on James.

It's gotten more and more each week since I have seen him but how can he like me. I'm not ugly but I'm not beautiful.

"hey guys James I'm sorry but I have to take Riley." Michelle said as she pulled me away.

"okay bye Riley!" James yells.

I say bye and Michelle brings me to the mall. What are we doing here?

"we are going to make you look great!" She squeals as she pulls me to a hair salon.

"really? how, how are you gonna make me look pretty?"

"Riley, who cares about pretty I'm going for noticeable (divergent series) and hot."

The lady at the front desk who looks like she's 2 or 3 years older than me smiles.

"hi I'm Rosa how can I help you?" She smiles.

"hi I'm Michelle, I would like to have my friend Riley have a make over or something."
