Chapter 2

Riley's POV

I's now the end of school and I've gotten to know Michelle pretty well now. I go to my locker and Michelle is right next to me. We're in the same homeroom and they put her locker next to mine. "hey Riley uh what are you doing today?" Michelle asks me looking a bit nervous. "I'm free if your free then maybe we can hang out." I say as we walk down the hallway. "sounds great!" Then a guy with brown hair comes up. He is in sweat pants and a grey musscle tee. He looks in our direction and walk over to us.

"I have no idea who that is do you?" I ask Michelle. "yup I know exactly who it is and your about to find out." She smiles at me. I see my sister and her group of friends starring at Michelle and this other new kid. "Hey there you are sis, I've been looking for you!" He pulls her into a hug. Sis!? That's Michelle's brother? Whoa she was right they don't look alike at all. "Hi I'm Hunter, Michelle's older brother." He extends his hand out and I shake it. He has a firm grip but yet it's soft and gentle. "I'm Riley." He smiles. "Yo Riley, you should totally come and chill at one of Friday nights. Their awesome!" I shrug and smile nodding my head from side to side. "maybe."

"okay think about it. Oh and Michelle I will kick your ass in our dance off later!"

"will not! and that's because I'm gonna beat you!"

They continue arguing like siblings pushing each other around. Hunter then picks Michelle up and throws her over his shoulder. She groans and tries to get off. I giggle at the sight. I really wish Emily and I were that close but all siblings are different. They go over to a car and a blonde women is in there. Hunter gets in the front seat. "My mom said sure! Do you want er to take your backpack?"

"No I'm fine there is barely anything in it anyways so I'm fine but thanks fot the offer." I say back to Michelle, She smiles. She then moves to the back of the car and a window opens up revealing a german shepherd. She places her bag in the car and turns towards me, West and Chloe. "you guys wanna meet Hector? He's really friendly, I'll bring him out but I'll put him on a leash if he tries to do something. He is trained. If you get too uncomfortable I'll put him back in the car" We all nod. She then pulls him out on a leash and keep him close from roaming around. She approaches us and has her hand by her side. She keeps a hold of his collar and pulls him towards us. We gently pet him. Emily comes up along with her possé.

"what is this?" she snorts. "Emily it's fine, it's a dog. hey is this your dog?" Eldon says walking up and kneeling down in front of Michelle.

"yeah his name is Hector".

"hey there buddy!" He smiles petting Hector. Hector then starts playing with a rock that was on the ground. "Hec don't play with that! I"m really sorry." Michelle appologises. She then finds her fingers in between Hector's teeth and manages to get the rock out. "he thought it was a chew toy."

"dude your dog is sick!" I turn around and see James. "thanks your...... James?...." Michelle said looking unsure and making it pop out like a question. "yeah I am!" he smiles and turns towards me. I grin at him keepng my mouth closed. "later!" Then all the populars leave. Michelle puts Hector back in the car. She comes back to me. Chloe and West left. "so what do you wanna do?" she asks looking all hyper. "I-I don't know."how about we go to the mall?" Michelle suggests. I agree we hop on a bus and get off at the mall. When we enter Michelle looks at me.

"what?" I ask putting my hands up.

"let's go get you some cute clothes.

I groan but I let Michelle tug me along. We enter a store and Michelle immediatly pulls me over to the shirts. "uh don't these shirts seems a bit small?" I ask. "Nope not at all." She replies popping the p. I'm then pushed into the cchanging rooms as she goes to get herself some clothes and me some more. I comes out and Michelle squeals. "That looks fabulous on you!" I look at myself and the shirt ends above my belly button. "isn't this a bit too much?" I ask. Michelle looks at me and smiles. "no it's perfect comeon there are some more you can try on.But you at least have to by 2 shirts, shorts, pants, sweaters and shoes." She smirks. I roll my eyes and go back in trying some more clothes on. Well at least I'll have a new wardrobe soon.

Hey so the next chapter will be carrying on from this of them at the mall. Please tell other next step users that I have this book. I don't mind who reads it but I don't want any hate if I'm not updating enough because I have school. Hope you liked the chapter. I know a bit boring right now...
