Kevin: Matt this isn't going to end well!
Woods marches outside. Wesley waits for him.
Woods: You ready to play fair, Wesley Nathaniel?
Wes: You don't know the trouble you've caused me.
Woods: You mean like being "annoyingly resilient"?
Wes: I'm not surprised that you heard that.
Woods: Less talk.
They begin to attack each other when Matt suddenly starts checking his pockets.
Sam: Matt? What's wrong?
Matt: No, no, no! [Matt looks at Sam] He took the antidote.
Sam: What?
Matt: He's going to try and inject Wesley again.
Sam: Woods, no.
She looks out the window, where Woods and Wes are still going at it.
Sam: Matt, who had the injection gun?
Matt facepalmed himself: Ugh! Woods!
Kevin put a hand on Matt's shoulder: I'm sure Woods knows what he's doing.
Matt: I hope so.
Bailey notices Woods left his phone.
Bailey: Matt. Here. [She hands him the phone]
Matt opens Woods' phone: Sam, I think I should tell John Doe.
Sam: I agree.
John Doe had just finished talking to Deb on the emulator, when he got an email from, for the first time in months, Project 863.
Project 863: John Doe, subject 3, Woodland Demars was injected with Life's Blood serum. Sam administered the antidote, but now Wesley Nathaniel, the Phantom who's been attacking us, is wrestling with Woods as we speak. This is in front of my studio. Woods is trying to inject him for the second time with the antidote. We thought, seeing how Deb knew Wesley and knows Life's Blood, that this would be important to her. And you are our ally in this too, you should also know. Please forward this to D. Thank you so much, Project 863.
John Doe's message to Deb: D, a word from Project 863. Subject 3, Woodland Demars was injected with Life's Blood. Wesley Nathaniel administered. Antidote was administered also, by Subject 2; Samantha Fekete. Wesley Nathaniel is now physically attacking Subject 3 in front of Subject 1's studio. Subject 3 has injected Wesley twice with the antidote.
Deb: How fascinating. They are certain of this information?
John Doe: Yes
Deb: Thank you. System Has Timed Out
Matt: John Doe said he'd tell D.
Sam: Good. I just hope Woods-
Wes started screaming. Woods had ripped the mask off, it was laying a ways away. But the reason for Wes' scream of agony was the injection that was being held by Woods. Once again, the antidote had been given to Wesley Nathaniel.
Woods stood, staring at Wes. The pain on his face made Woods almost regret giving him the antidote. Matt's antidote. Wes was barely able to remain propped up on his knee, clutching the injection site.
Wes: Subject 3?
Wesley didn't sound as cruel, but Woods figured it had to do with the mask. Woods took a couple of steps towards the mask and kicked it clear to the end of the building. Wes wasn't panting as hard now. Woods kept his eyes on his. Matt and Sam came outside and surrounded Wes. Matt was holding a baseball bat.
Wes: What have I done these past 26 years?
Woods and Matt shared a look.
Woods: For starters, you injected me.
Wes looked at Woods, unbelieving.
Wes: Did you get the antidote?
Sam: Yes.
Matt: No thanks to you.
Sam: Matt!
Wes: No, Miss. Samantha. I deserve it. I know you don't trust me, but is there a way I could talk to D?
The three subjects looked at each, and, for the first time in a long while, they agreed.
Matt: Here Woods. Tell him. (Referring to John Doe)
Woods: On it.
Matt pulled out some zip ties, and zip-tied Wesley's hands together. They dragged him into Megadesk and taped him to a chair. Sam closed the door and sat closest to the door. Woods had just put his phone away and blindfolded Wes until they got the chat with Deb up. Woods then pulled the blindfold off.
Wes stared at the computerized image of Deb.
Deb: Wes?
Wes: How do I-?
Sam: You tell us what you want to say. We'll type.
Matt was sitting at the keyboard.
Wes: D? I think...I think you found the right subjects this time.
Deb: It's you. Project 863 succeeded. Thank you Subject 1; Matt, Subject 2; Sam, and Subject 3; Woods. All of you have done much, but it's not over yet. There is still Nelson. But for now, Woods, now that you have become injected, even though you got the antidote, you still need rest. Your body has a lot to get used to. And Wesley, you have a lot to recover from. Project 863, take him to the drop where you met John Doe. Wait for me to arrive. Wesley and Woods will know when I'm there. Once again, thank you Project 863. See you all soon. You too, Wesley. System Has Timed Out
Everyone loaded up into the Tesla, even Wes. They went to the drop, not saying anything along the way.
[Fifteen Minutes Later]
Woods: Guys? A car just pulled in.
Wes started looking out the window.
Matt: Woods, is it Deb?
Wes & Woods: No.
Wes: It's Nelson. [Echoes]
