Here We Go

Here We Go, Part One

After Matt says "Okay. Let's split up." The team races to their cars. Sam and Woods go to Woods' car, Matt and Quinn to the Tesla. Sam is carrying a small vlog camera. After pulling out of the studio, Woods finally loses his cool.

Woods: Ugh!

Slaps the steering wheel.

Woods: I get he's the frickin' leader, but that doesn't make him our master!

Sam: Yeah, it really seems like he's trying to be a dictator here.

Woods: No kidding! He took the Subject 4 camera, and just... (Growls in frustration.) At least we were able to snag something so we still can have Subject 4 with us. (Turns to Sam at a red light) And whether he likes it, or not, this is going into the video!

Sam, (nodding in agreement): Definitely

The rest of the journey is made in silence.

[Half an hour later, Matt's Tesla]

Matt: You know I tried my best, but sometimes they can be so...(Growls in frustration) But I guess maybe this time for us to get away from each other might be good. Hey, maybe, they'll learn how hard I try to keep them safe. (Phone starts ringing) Speaking of.

Matt puts the call on Bluetooth.

Sam on the call: Matt! Matt! You need to get here NOW!

Matt: Whoa, whoa! What's happening?!

Sam: The serum! Woods got shot with the serum!

Matt: What?!! [Echoes]

[Half an hour earlier, Woods and Sam walk to the serum location.]

Wesley Nathaniel watches them walk, so slowly, to the location of, to them, the serum. For him? The location of "Strike 3."

Wes was just above them, on a small hill. Not much cover but it worked. His target came perfectly into the shot. He held the small dart gun, a dart full of serum, and pulled the trigger.

Sam: Woods, is this the spot where it said the serum would be?

Woods: I think so- Woods briefly stumbles, then looks at his side. There was a small dart, filled with a red liquid that was slowly emptying. Emptying into Woods.

Sam covers her mouth, trying not to scream.

Wes: STRIKE 3!

Woods and Sam look up, Sam; trying to realize what happened, Woods; is angry because he had known that this "Phantom" had done more than smack him in the back of the head.

Woods: Sam. When I say "run" get to the car, the serum is behind you, and put the serum into the compartment on the passenger side. It'll lock. Then, [Woods turns to look at Sam, who's staring at Wes who is now on ground level with them] Sam, call Matt.

Sam nodded. And picked up the serum that had tumbled from Woods' hands.

Woods: Run!

At that moment, two things happened. Sam ran for Woods' car. Wesley tried to run after Sam. Woods grabbed him and the two of them began to wrestle. One protecting, the other wanting protection.

Sam put the serum away, then got on the phone with Matt.

Sam: Come on, come on! Pick up!

Woods got hit in the face hard.

Sam: Matt! Matt! You need to get here NOW!

Matt on the call: Whoa, whoa! What's happening?!

Sam: The serum! Woods got shot with the serum!
