As I moved my foot, a shot rang out and I saw Sinister's smiling face. I shivered. I never wanted to see that face again.

Then Sinister frowned and swore.

Then his face dissapeared.

I blinked, confused.

I took a look at my surroundings as my memories came back.

I was escaping! No, wait... I was dead. That teenager had shot me. Right?

I rubbed my head as I tried to remember.

Wait a second, idiot! I chastised myself. I could just look around. When I looked around earlier, I hadn't really paid attention.

Focusing, I looked around.

OH MY FREAKING GOD HOLY CRAP, I thought.

A single agent in black had taken out all of the people after me and was now panting heavily.

I stared at the -teenage- girl. Her hair was long, blond, and flowing out of her black hat. Next to her was Summer. I hadn't seen her before. I guess she had taken out some one inside or something.

I sent to Summer, WTF? I told you to get out of here.
She sent back, Yah, well, I don't take orders from you or anyone and-
You take orders from your parents, I interrupted.
Shut up and let me finish. And I found some outside help. Meet Kaelin. She has some of the powers you do. I don't know which.
OH MY FREAKING GOD YOU FOUND KAELIN YOU GENIUS HOLY CRAP HANG ON!
I turned to Kaelin and said,"Kaelin_Michaels17?" She nodded. Then she replied in a beautiful voice, (that I wish I had)"Anonymous question asker?" I nodded eagerly. Chill out! Seriously. I bet you're freaking her out, Summer chimed. Shut up, I sent.
What are you guys talking about? Came Kaelin's voice. OMG YOU HAVE MY POWERS! EEEEK! I said, a bit fangirlish.

I blushed.

Kaelin laughed, rolled her eyes, and said,"Come on. We've got to get out of here."

I nodded, coming back to reality.
I was thinking battle now.

We started walking. When we turned a corner, I didn't even think. I just threw my arm out and kicked. The military man sneaking up on us was now on the floor.

I felt sick to my stomach. I hadn't killed him, but I had harmed him. What was worse was that I did that on instinct. More proof that I was a monster.

We kept creeping along until we came to a black car with tinted windows. This is our way out, Summer said proudly. I nodded. Great choice, I replied. I'll drive, Kaelin said, all business like. Shotgun! Summer yelled. Called it, Summer said as she climbed into the passenger seat. I rolled my eyes.

It's just a seat, Summer. Calm down, I said.
It's just a person, Meg. Calm down, she replied. I groaned. When was she going to let this go?
Never, Summer chimed. I groaned again and settled myself in the backseat, laying down.

The car started moving, and I saw the men on the ground as we passed them. I gulped and shut my eyes.

Nonetheless, tears still leaked out. I was a horrible monster.

Guilt racked my body with every silent sob. What had I done? That question kept popping up. What had I done? I hadn't killed anyone, but I had harmed lots of people. If I would have been careful, I wouldn't have been knifed. I would never have needed to go to the hospital. Nobody would have found out I had powers. Wait a second, I thought. Why did my powers just spring up at that moment? Something wasn't right.
"Kaelin?" I asked.
"What?" She replied.
"Two things. First, why did my powers spring up at that exact moment? Second, where are we going?"
"Your powers sprang up at that moment because you usually get them at 18, but a traumatic experience could speed up the process. You getting knifed, for example." My eyes widened. How did she know that?

I didn't tell her, Summer sent. The feeling something wasn't right was getting stronger.

"You never answered my question. Where are we going?"
"Away," she replied, dodging the question.
"Away where?" I asked nervously.
"I don't know yet. Just away. Calm down," She replied, sounding annoyed.
Something was wrong.
I had a plan, though.
I transformed into the shapeshifter I had seen in Summer's memory and said," We tricked her! Let's grab her and put her in the cell right next to where Meg is."
Kaelin smiled mischievously. Then she transformed into a petite blond.

It was Cat! It wasn't Kaelin. Thank god I had had this genius plan.

That's how it would go in my head. Time to put this plan in action, I thought.

Kaelin said sadly,"Sh*t. I messed up, didn't I." Then she transformed into Cat.

"How?" I asked. "I killed you," I stated. "You killed a shapeshifter who looked like me. My twin. Her name was Elisabeth," Cat said bitterly.

Without thinking twice, I pushed her head onto the steering wheel, hard, effectively knocking her out. Why? I thought sadly. Why does everything always go wrong? I thought again, tears silently slipping down my face.

Sniffling, I gently put Cat on the grass next to the road and got into the driver's seat.

"Where are we going?" Summer asked. "Home," I replied.
