She got up and wiped the blood
And smiled, for another day she had
Her body ached,her skin sore
He had never gone this far before
She should run!Yes she should
But a part of her never could
And never would.
This man was a monster
a demon, to whom she answered
Yet somehow she liked this
She embraced this deranged king
of hers
She enjoyed the beating and diss
For that was when his skin
touched hers
she enjoyed the whip on her back
tearing through her tattered robes
liking this unorthodox attack
For she would stand before him.
naked,unrobed
But then,
when will he see
when?
That her love for him is as vast as the sea
When will his cold eyes
warm up with love
When will he end this lies
That their marriage was a curse from above
It's a blessing in disguise!
she looked around her room
If you can call it that
It was adorned in gloom
Droplets of her blood formed a patch
Blood, from past encounters with her beloved.
She sighed
This is not living
Its just not dying
this is not happiness
Its just not crying
But she must trudge on
For a day will come
When her man will beg Pardon
For his transgressions
So a bold face she would adorn
Long awaiting his confession
But One day she decided
To write a note
One day courage insighted
That she take a boat
And go for a journey
Far away from her beloved
To a land of milk and honey
But no torturous love
Finally she wanted out!
Two weeks later the man went to the shore
After reading the letter from his whore
By leaving, a hole she had bore
In his heart, the pain tore
But walking on he saw a body
Among the ruins of a boat
It was his wife,or rather her body
Her flesh,defenseless against nature
The only sign of life
Was her rotting flesh
Consumed by vermin
She made it,to her milk and honey
Emotions run through his cold heart
Mingling, no telling them apart
But finally he found his reaction
He smiled, an ironic action
A crooked smile
Finally, she had pleased him
For this was the woman he had always wanted.
