eight girls (Hogwarts life) ( short stories )

Iris Tate John , sixth year

6th year

I was drooped off at the platform like always but all was on edge as we all have suspicions on lord Voldemort's power growing throughout the wizading world. Once on the train I couldn't find anyone to sit next to or an empty compartment. I walked hesitantly into one compartment with I think four boys and one girl, on my right a boy sat at the window the girl in the middle and another boy at the end , on my left there was the two other boys one sat near the door the other at the window. with is being the only seat that I have seen free since I got on the train I looked around asking for permission with my eyes the boy that was at my left and sat next to the window smiled and patted the seat / spot next to him. I gratefully took it and once again looked at them all seeing that they all looked older than me and was taller than me I assumed they were in the year above me. I gulped and turned to look out the window as best I could from where I was sitting and wondered off into a daydream. I broke out my daydream when I realised non of them have spoke 'is it because I am in here ?' I thought to myself I looked opposite me to fined the girl starting at me , she had messy brown hair, big hazel eyes and tanned skin. I quickly looked away and tried desperately to go back into my daydream but I couldn't. Finally we arrived at Hogwarts but the group followed me to the Slytherin common room and in the assembly for the sorting of first years they all stared at me. This all started to creep me out. I rushed into the common room not looking where I was going only to come in contact with a wall ,well a tall person, "you can't help but fall for me." a familiar voice said I looked up to find I was very close , face to face with Blaise. my eyes widened and my mouth opened with a small silent gasp. a smile grew on his face as he looked behind me and he wrapped his arms around me. "if you want a kiss you could of just asked " he said amused , I frowned and tried to get out his arms as he closed his eyes and pouted his lips and moved his closer to mine as if it was possible to be any closer. "Ahem!" a new voice was added to this conversation just as Blaise lips brushed against mine. I tried to get out his grip to get a look to see who it was , only for the person to come in to me view , Draco Malfoy. I cursed under my breath and closed my eyes. "what's going on here?" his voice rung out again. Blaise eyes opened and he turned to face Draco but still kept an iron grip on me. "sorry Draco we couldn't kept our hands to ourself ,right Iris?" he pulled me closer so we where hip to hip my mouth opened and closed like a stupid fish . A smug smile crept on to Blaise's face , he has a very punchable face right now. Draco's eyebrows knitted together and his jaw clenched ad his lips turned into a thin line and his eyes found Blaise hand on my hip ,side and he just walked off to the boys dorms , mumbling something under his breath. Blaise finally let go of me and strutted out the common room. I breathed in and let out a heavy sigh , walked over to the fire and sat down on the sofa and closed my eyes. I must of fell asleep as I woke up and found I had missed all the lessons and that i missed dinner . I looked down to see a light grey blanket was covered over me and on the table a plate and a note . On the plate was a chicken leg , a Yorkshire pudding a pot of gravy and on a side plate was a hand full of sweets and chocolates all my favourite kind. I picked up the note I noticed it was the same hand writing as the other one it said 'Dear Snowy , you should really sleep at night time as you have missed several lessons , I have brought you some food from the hall as I can't let you go hungry now can I Snowy. Hope you like everything I remembered as best I could on what you liked , hope you still like them.' I smiled to myself and put the letter in my pocket before digging into my food it was still warm and it all tasted delicious. After my late feast I cleaned the things away and took myself to bed with one thought running though my head 'who is this person?'
Sadly I didn't find out this year but some things went down this year (but I have a feeling you know that )
Draco was acting more distant not to me as he has always been distant from me , but from his friends and I hardly ever see him come into the Slytherin common room house mainly at night time. One night I got curious as sat in the common room all night but I didn't see him , that could also be down to the fact that I fell asleep . But I woke up to the same light grey blanket wrapped around me and the same perfume clung to it , I loved the smell that I couldn't help but sniff it every now and then . oh god what have I become.
