eight girls (Hogwarts life) ( short stories )

Leah Leia Harrison , sixth year

6th year

This year just wasn't the same. I just really didn't want to go this year but my mum was there for me and thought it was best if I go and I need to finish school , I guess. Me and Cho both sat in a compartment with each other in silence just both sat opposite each other staring out the window. once we arrive at Hogwarts we are introduced to the new DADAs teacher , Professor Umbrage , who is sporting an all pink look.  We found out she works with the Ministry of magic , and that she has started putting silly rules down and getting rid of teachers. No one would speak with me or Cho and if they did it will be with pity eyes and a pat on the back or a hug. They avoided us like the plague. Slowly it turned out that I have no friends as Cho normally locked herself away or consumed herself in her work, leaving me all alone. Lewis would talk to me but very tip toe like. This all annoyed me and got me more emotional. I wasn't that keen on the new teacher but I never really payed her much attention as my mind was always else where. But once in her class she gave someone a detention and when I saw them the next day their hand was all wrapped. Surprisingly I so far have not got a detention but not sure how long that recored will keep up. At the end of the year it was alright just that I found out my brother has been given a detention and I know now what happens, so I did what anyone would do and barged into her office, sadly she wasn't there , instead I started to smash up her ridiculous kitten plates and turning her office upside down. Once satisfied with what I have done I left the room and made my way for the common room , with a big smile spread across my face. They never found out it was me but my brother had implied that he thinks it was me but I never admitted. Many did suspect it was Harry Potter and maybe some of his friends as well , like it was a planned mission to turn her office inside down . But thats all for this year.
