Leah Leia Harrison , first year

1st year

Stuffing all my clothes in my dad's old leather light brown case , I had to bounce on top to be able to buckle it up. I heard giggles coming from my door way I looked and narrowed  my eyes at my two older sisters, they are all ways making fun of me. I huffed angrily and crossed my arms staring down at my case that at that moment popped opened making all my things fly out and most went straight for my face. The giggles got louder and I felt tears burn my eyes. "leave her alone!" shouted my younger brother standing in front of me now standing between me and our lovely sisters. "why what you going to do about it baby brother." Lauren said using her baby voice, making Lisa burst out laughing in a cackle. " I'll .... I'll ...um tell mummy and daddy!" shouted back Lewis. Making the giggles become more violent that Lauren started wiping her eyes and Lisa was hunched over holding her belly. I moved forward and stood next to Lewis holding his hand and staring daggers at them. All ended when mum came in the room "oh can't you get along for once in your life? Lauren , Lisa stop messing with Leah its her first time going and leaving home. You don't want me to tell them how you two where like do you?" mum raised her eyebrow and put her hands on her hips. Lauren and Lisa became pale and hurried off down the corridor slamming their bedroom door shut. "mummy!" Lewis said stretching his small arms up to mum wanting her to pick him up. With Lewis in her arms mum picked up my things and swiftly and one handedly packed my case and buckled it shout. "there you go baby girl." she said sweetly and stroking my hair "don't listen to your sisters." she placed a kiss on my forehead and walked out lewis' and my bedroom. I got dressed in a cream top that use to be Lisa's so it was too big for me and some old denim jeans that were Laurens when she was my age yet they were to long for me. I put my hair into a messy bun , grabbed my case and ran down the stairs flying into my father. "woooh there kido what you in such as rush of eh ?" he smiled down at me , I beamed my brights smile and laughed "oh well its just MY FIRST DAY AT HOGWARTS!" I screamed jumping into his arms making him laugh out and run around the house with me on his back and his arms out like a plane , I couldn't help but laugh and smile. "put her down Link , your going make her sick and dizzy. " mum said hitting dad's arm with the oven gloves. "okay " laughed out my dad putting me down on one of the kitchen stools and my mum placed a plate with buttered toast and scrambled egg. I smiled at her and picked up my knife and fork. From the corner of my eye I could see my mum washing up then my dad wrapping his arms around her waist and planted a sweet kiss on her cheek and forehead making a smile grow on her face as I could see their reflection in the window that was in front of the sink. "ew! please...no!" Lauren screeched from the kitchen door way , mum and dad sighed and dad moved away from mum , as mum carried on washing up. I gave her a dirty look messing up their love is horrible thing to do. She just stuck her tongue out at me, I rolled my eyes very mature. You could say I am bit of a romantic I love all the Disney princesses mainly their prince's though, I can't wait till I meant my prince. I can just picture it now I'll be in a beautiful flowy dress and he will save me and be my knight I shinning armer. I let out a big sigh as I continued my daydream, which was rudely interrupted by the sound of giggles and my body making contact with the cold kitchen tiled floor.  "Lauren! Lisa!" both mum and dad yelled in unison. My head was pounding and sounded like it had its own heart. Tears once again burned my eyes but I refused to let them get what they want. Mum was sat on the floor cradling my head, turning into her healer self. I smiled at her and tried to get  up "careful baby." she hushed pulling me in for a big hug. "Lauren! Lisa! explain yourself!" dad raised his voice , both of my sisters looked at each other than at the ground "NOW!" dad shouted both of them flinched and Lisa had tears running down her cheeks but Lauren just looked up through her hair staring right at me in my eyes I felt a shiver sliver down my spine , it felt like she was looking through me I gulped and buried my head back in my mothers neck as she had  picked me up hugging me close and tight stroking my hair as my messy bun had fell out . I felt a tug on my foot and looked down to find Lewis' big green eyes staring up at me with worried , concern and love swirling around in them. I got out mum's bear hug and gave Lewis a reassuring hug. Once it was all over and dad had interrogated and given Lauren and Lisa a lecture. It was time to go to the platform and get on the train to Hogwarts. Mum and dad stood side by side walking us there , Lauren and Lisa walked together behind mum and dad , and me and Lewis walked hand in hand in front of them all. Lewis started to cry when I had to go as the train pulled up, I gave him the biggest of hugs and whispered in his ear "at least Lauren and Lisa are out the house now, yeah." I smiled at him he burst out laughing pulling a face I know all to well , his prank plotting face, my smile grew but I was dragged away by Lauren and Lisa. Lauren was in her 4th year (14 years old) and once on the train and that they had shown they where with me to mum and dad , then she just walked off to her friends in her year so did Lisa , Lisa is in her 3rd year (13 years old). So I am left all alone in the compartment they have shoved me in, one that they found with other 1st years in. There was a dark haired girl sat at the window on the left bench and a blonde haired boy asleep across the right bench. I sat down next to the door on the left side and looked at the girl , smiled at her but she just looked at me up and down then rolled her brown/black eyes and turned back to her very thick and heavy looking book. I sighed and out of boredom started to tap my fingers on my leather case causing the girl to whipped her head at me and to stare daggers at me I stopped immediately laying my hands flat on the case and the girl went back to her book , I huffed out a heavy breath and started to hum one of my favourite songs causing the same reaction from the girl. lets just say it was aa long journey. Once we had arrived at Hogwarts the first years had to get in some boats it's so cool , I wish this is always how you get there. An old lady greeted us and lead us to the big grand doors to the hall, I smiled and straitened my back standing up right letting it all flow through me. I was one of the student at the front for the group and one of the first ones to get the name called out to be sorted "miss Harrison, Leah Harrison. please come up" the old woman said holding a scroll I walked up the stairs and sat on the stool with a straight back and a proud smile plastered on my face. "umm ...uh ... ah! GRYFFINDOR!" the hat called out making one of the middle tables erupt in cheers. I confidently walked back down and smiled at everyone before taking a seat that one of the older years created for me by making the others shuffle down the row , he sat next to me giving me a big smile and put his arm over my shoulder. I found out he was in the same year as Lisa making him 2 years older than me and that he didn't like my sisters and hopes I won't be like them. I reasured him I won't be. His name is Rory Jon Matthew , he has brown messy hair , fair skin and crystal blue eyes , oh also had super cute dimples. I think I found my prince and god is he good looking.
This year me and Rory are inseparable and I really like him nothing happened just Rory did get sent to the hospital as in quidditch as he was hit by a bludger , he plays as one of Gryffindors chasers, he's just amazing.
