Leah Leia Harrison , fifth year

5th year 

I couldn't be more happy as my two favourite boys will be with me this year , Lewis and Rory. I have a wide cheesy grin on my face one that makes your cheeks hurt but I couldn't help it. I was holding Lewis' hand and gave it a squeeze before climbing onto the train and found a compartment with Cho, Cedric and Rory in, I gave them all a smile and introduced my little baby brother , they all waved at him , he just smiled back and sat in the window seat on the left side I sat next to him and Rory sat next to me , with Cho and Cedric sat opposites us. Both of my hands were being held one by Lewis the other by Rory. I just kept my smile on my face even though my cheeks were screaming out as they were in pain. Once we have gotten to Hogwarts I let my friends go on without me as I wanted to see Lewis off I gave him a bear hug and a kiss on his forehead held his hand and walked him to a boat that head some free seats once seated he turned around and waved at me with a grin on his face. I smiled and waved back till I couldn't see him anymore. Once seated with my friends I waited with my fingers fidgeting and my right leg bouncing up and down, while staring at the doors waiting for my little baby to come. When I felt a hand on my knee and another intertwining with my fingers. I looked to see Rory starting down at me smiling and he planted a sweet kiss to my forehead. A smile grow on my face. That is when the doors opened making me whip my head back to the door and stretching my neck in search of Lewis. I spotted him as they gathered around the stool and hat. He turned around and gave me a big grin and wave , I smiled and waved back at him all my nerves vanished from my body. When his name was called my heart stopped and I stopped breathing , just stared at him, he had a big silly smile planted on his face still. To no ones surprise he got in to Gryffindor. I ran at him once he had got down and engulfed him in a bear hug and started to kiss call over his face, feeling like a proud mother. "Leah... stop" he wined as he rubbed his face where I have kissed him. "come on you can sit with me." I said as I took his hand but to my surprise he slipped his hand away. I looked at him confused. "well I've made some friends and some of them have been sorted into Gryffindor as well so I was thinking if I could sit with them? also its probably best if I sit with other first years to get to know them and make friends." I stood there shocked but nodded and walked back alone. Throughout the rest of the assembly I was just watching him, laughing and talking, making friends. "he will be alright, don't worry." Rory whispered in my ear giving me a sit down side hug , I just rested my head on his shoulder and let out a heavy sigh. There was a special announcement this assembly of the 'triwizard tournament' and that we will be accompanied by two other schools 'Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, Durmstrang Institute' I have no interest in the game but the boys don't look to bad, though Rory is the one for me. Both Rory and Cedric put their names in the goblet of fire but Cedric was the one who got picked , Rory was a bit bummed but happy for his friend. One night me and Rory went out to the forest like we always do, it was before the yule ball. He made a big banner handing from one tree to another saying 'Will you be my yule ball date?' I jumped at him and screamed "YES!" he let out a chuckle. And he kissed me. As we were all involved in our happiness we didn't hear the heavy footsteps , once they were really close with  a twig snapped and rustling of the bushes , Rory let go of me and said "Leah I am going to check what it is." he walked slowly towards the outskirts for the forest which get closer to the forbidden forest . I just stared at him confused, planted a soft kiss on my lips before running deeper into the forest to the noise. I wanted to go with him but I knew to stay and wait for him, I heard some commotion like shouting , so I walked closer to hear words that no one wants to hear "Avada Kedavra!" I froze in my spot the next thing I knew I was running in the same direction that Rory ran in to find his limp body sprawled out with his wand in hand. I rushed to him hot tears streaming down as I was on my knees hugging his cold body. I head a noise similar to the other ones we heard I looked up to find a black clothed woman figure, I reached for my wand but before I cloud cast a spell she had disappeared. So I ran as fast as I could, I ended up bumping in to Harry , Ron and Hermione. "whats wrong?" Hermione asked "Rory! he ... he ... he's in the forest .... theres something in there as well ... I need to find help" all three of them looked at me with concern and they ran into the forest as well. I sighed and ran to the school hoping to make it to a teacher. I ran into professor Mcgonagall "my dear what on earth are you doing out of bed? and why you running in the corridor?" I looked up at her out of breath "its ...its ... Rory he's in ... the ... forest ....he needs help ....please." her face changed and she marched down the corridor to Dumbledore's office. once we made it back to the forest I showed them where he ran to and where his body is they don't know who  attacked him but what they do know is that he is dead. I just broke down in tears my head, throat , belly , my whole body hurt all in pain and agony that I felt like I was dying but sadly I knew that I wasn't. Lisa was also distort about what happened but Lauren couldn't care less. At the yule ball I didn't want to go but Oliver , Cho and Cedric convinced me. As Cho and Cedric where going together it left me with Oliver I didn't mind as we decided to go   as friends. its  the day of the yule ball I pushed myself out my bed and to my wardrobe , revealing my dress. its a long red silk dress with a low V neck , I pared it with some red/ruby shoes and I did my hear in a up and down look like how Bell has it in beauty and the beast. It took a long time to apply my makeup as I have big dark circles some spots and my eyes and cheeks are all puffed up and red. I went simple with a nude gloss lip and smoky eye with some fake lashes. Once done I walked over to the mirror and looked at myself not recognising who I am , I smooth out my dress and tried my smiles in the mirror I think non of them looked believable. I let out a heavy sigh and slouched my shoulders and made my way to the ball as Oliver said he will wait at the ball for me. once I reached the doors I put on my best smile and straitened my back and shoulders, then I took a leap of faith and opened the doors walking down the steps most people looked at me with pity swirling in their eyes I brushed it off and looked allover till I spotted Cho , Cedric and Oliver. I walked over to them took Oliver's arm and we started to dance it was nice at first but with all the looks and whispers and no one talking to you or them being careful when talking to you or that they feel like they have to talk to you to see how you're doing. I had enough and exuded myself from my friends saying I was tired. I walked out to the courtyard and sat down on the edge of the water fountain  running my hands in the cold water. that's when I felt a blanket like thing placed around my shoulders and the warmth from it made my  body realise just how cold I was. I looked and saw it was a fur cape like thing and I also found Viktor Krum staring down at me , he then sat next to me facing me ,  putting his hand in the water. Non of use spoke but we didn't need to as it was nice. In the next game of the tournament Cedric died , making both me and Cho the two best friends who both lost their loved one and the same year. This made us closer together than we have ever been before. (kinda sad isn't it)   ,  ,  ,  .
