You glared at Ashfur from across camp, then Brambleclaw, Brambleclaw was acting like a kit half the time and Ashfur was showering Squirrelflight in to much love that it started turning sickly-sweet.

The ginger she you knew and always loved came padding up behind you, nuzzling her head into your soft, smooth (Y/F/C) pelt. "(Y/W/N)!" She purred happily, "what's wrong?" she asked, her brows furrowed.

"Oh nothing, it's just. . . Do you really love Brambleclaw. . . ? " you asked, worry in your eyes as you knew you were about to get your heart smashed into shattered pieces that even StarClan themselves could not put it back together.

"Well. . . Ever since he became deputy he sure has been acting. . . Well. . . Rude. But- uh. . . Maybe? I'm not sure. " she mewed, you sighed before you meowed.

"Well, Squirrelflight. . . I love you . . . it's fine if you don't feel the same-" she looked up at you, wide eyed and shocked. Before her eyes turned soft.

"I love you to, (Y/W/N), you know that, right?" You looked down at her, purring, and curling your soft, welcoming (Y/F/C) tail around her and she nuzzled her head under your jaws.

Little did you know, a grey speckled tom was watched you from afar. . . And it was not going to end up pretty.
