"Annnd that's it everyone! The Retrivers have done it again folks!"
The announcement boomed over the speakers of the schools football field. The crowd went crazy.
"Leading the 14 point win is their captain, Dream Taken, with 3 touchdowns tonight!"
The crowd roared. Everyone knew Dream, everyone adored him. However louder than anyone else, was George.
George met Dream in kindergarten when he first moved to Florida from England. They were sat next to each other and conveniently got along from the start. After years of having classes together, they quickly became best friends. They were never not together.
They were always partners for school projects. They hung out every weekend. When middle school came around the two started to become more well known. In eighth grade, George realized he liked guys. He was nervous to tell Dream, and didn't until he got a boyfriend. Dream didn't care. He was supportive and there to pick up the pieces after the nasty breakup, because that's just who Dream is. That's when George started to realize he might like his best friend a little more than he thought. During freshman year of high school Dream made the JV football team. George went to every game to cheer him on. Around this same time, Dream started to get hit on by every girl that came into contact with him. He always had a girlfriend or some type of fling. The summer before sophomore year when Dream wanted to get his ears pierced, and his parents finally said yes, George went with him. He also managed to get himself roped into getting his pierced. The same thing happened when George wanted to get his eyebrow pierced the summer before junior year. Accept Dream opted for something more hidden, a tongue piercing. Junior year is when Dream made the varsity team for football. Him and George started attending parties and living the full high school experience. They made new friends and found a place they fit into. It was now senior year, and the first game of the season. George still came to every one of them. Dream made captain this year.
George's feelings never went away, they just grew.
As the stands started to empty George made his way down to the field. It was around 7pm and the sun was setting. He looked around the large empty area until his eyes met with emerald green ones. He ran up to the blonde and gave him a hug.
"Congrats Dream! You did great out there!" He exclaimed, earning a warm smile back and a thankyou.
"The teams gonna go out to eat before the party tonight if you guys wanna come," a raven haired male said.
"Sure Sap, text me where and we will be there," Dream said happily.
Normally dinners after the game were only for the team, but George always went with and everyone accepted that.
Dream and George walked side by side to Dream's car talking about various topics.
"Are you excited? The first party of the year is always one of the bests!" The talker man said with enthusiasm.
"Of course I am, I'm also starving. Where are we going to eat?"

The two pulled up to the teams normal burger joint. They got out of the car and made there was through the warm air into the blast of cool ac. They saw they group sitting at their normal table. As soon as they saw Dream, they started shouting.
"There he is!"
"The big man!"
"Good job out there tonight!"
They both took their seats and George recognized some familiar faces.
Sapnap, the raven haired male. Quackity or Big Q who always wore a navy blue beanie outside of games. Punz, a blonde boy with his nails painted black. Wilbur, who was one of George's good friends. And also Tommy, Tubbo, and Ranboo. The three were a grade younger than the rest, but nevertheless a great time. Normally Karl, a fluffy haired brunette boy, would be there too. He's not in the football team either but a good friend of Sapnap's. However tonight, he was helping set up the party.
