The brunette slowly nodded his head while looking into the emerald eyes staring back at him.
The blonde pulled the others face forward gently and finally connected their lips.
The kiss was sweet and soft. Pink lips pressed to pink lips and both boy's eyes fell shut.
It felt like a million stars were shining on George when Dream laced his fingers through the brunette's hair. Butterflies entered his stomach and flew around his entire body. George wrapped his arms around the back of the blonde's neck and let himself enjoy the moment.
This is what he had always wanted.
When they finally pulled apart, George's face was a light shade of pink. Dream rested his forehead onto the Brit's and closed his eyes.
"Are you tired?" He asked George.
The brunette laughed, "kinda, we can go to sleep if you're tired,"
George shut off the lights and climbed under the covers with Dream. Right has he settled into a comfy position, he felt the blonde grab onto him with strong hands and calloused fingers. He let himself be pulled so his back was flush with the others stomach.
Dream placed a feather light kiss where the Brit's neck conjoined with his shoulder, "night George," he mumbled.
Both boys drifted to sleep peacefully, feeling safe in the comfort and warmth of the other.

For awhile, this is how things stayed. They were still best friends, they hung out after school, did projects together, went out to do things, went to dinners with their families, plus Dream still checked up on how George was doing and he made sure the Brit was eating three meals a day. However their was one aspect that changed. Stolen kisses hidden away in bathrooms at parties or empty hallways at school became normal for them. Cuddling after a hard day and holding each other in private became a normal occurrence.

Now, it's the last week of October. It's a very important time for group. Friday is the last football game of the year, and the team is currently undefeated. Saturday is Halloween, so the five boys are planning on attending Punz's annual party.
Anticipation and excitement is at an all time high in the school. There are posters up along the halls advertising the game, plus everyone has been wishing Dream and the team good luck.
Even though the blonde was excited, he was also extremely stressed. A lot of pressure has been put on him lately, and it's very apparent.

On Wednesday, everyone got let out early. George didn't know why, something about a staff development day or something like that, however he wasn't complaining.
The group met up outside the school to talk about what they wanted for lunch.
"We should go to that place we all used to go to as kids!" Karl exclaimed, wrapped up in Sapnap's arms to try to avoid the cold air around them.
"Rose's Cafe? We haven't been there since like middle school," Quackity adds.
"Exactly! That's why we should go!" Karl responded, jumping with excitement now.
They all separated and got into their own cars. George got into the passenger side of Dream's car as he turned the key in the ignition and turned the heat on full blast. Before going anywhere, he looked over to George.
"Are you sure you want to go? If it's still too much that's completely okay we can-" he started to ramble, not wanting to offend the brunette.
"Dream I promise, it's okay," George reassured the boy.
