~Islas' POV~
It's been two weeks since everything happened and since then things have changed, Silas has stopped trying to order me around like some deckhand. Also I now turn in with him every night, we decided that from now on every night will be our honeymoon. Since then things have been great, we make love never wanting to be anywhere else, we love each other and over the last couple weeks our love has returned to the way it was the night we wed. I woke up today with Silas laying next to me and the sun rising outside, I knew that the crew would be up shortly and at least one of us has to be up when they started work. I got out of bed looking for my clothes finding what I needed before getting ready for what the day has in store. I pulled on my black and white dress tying my black heart necklace in place before pulling on my black boots. I put my hair in its usual half up bun, leaving the rest down before checking myself in the mirror. I then buckled my sheath to my waist and put my daggers in place, knowing that without them I'm defenseless.
When I was done with everything I heard a commotion out on deck seeing Silas wake up and rush around I ran outside seeing the Black Pearl at our side. I shook my head knowing that it was Jack or Barbossa just passing by, I sighed watching the men come aboard before seeing Barbossa. He gave me a small smile before tipping his hat to me, I smirked, shaking my head going to him.
"To what do we owe the pleasure captain?"
He smirked.
"Figured we would stop to tell you that we saw your fathers ship not far behind you, about a day or two by the waves."
"Thank you."
"Of course, well our young Princess seems to be glowing..."
I knew that he was seeing something, and I feared it wasn't what Silas and I needed right now, without saying another word about my supposed glow, he sighed looking around.
"Now where's that husband of yours?"
Just then Silas came out of the cabin letting out a sigh of relief, he came to us giving me a small kiss before looking at Barbossa.
"So I take it we have an army not far behind us?"
"Yeah, Islas' father's a day or two behind you."
He sighed.
"Shit, alright, thank you for warning us."
"If there's a war, you have the Pearl."
"Thank you, but I don't think that'll be necessary."
Silas looked at me like I was crazy.
"What are you talking about Isla? We can't hold off your father with one ship, have you gone mad."
"No, but I know my father."
"He tried to kill you last time."
I nodded my head.
"Well if I'm going to die, I'll die fighting for what I love."
He sighed and Barbossa sailed off, and the only thing running through my mind was where's Jack. That ship is his, no matter who says they're the captain, the Black Pearl will always be Jacks. I walked away ordering the men to their stations, and getting to work while Silas went to the helm. I know he's worried, not only about the ship following us, and getting closer each day, but about me as well. To be honest I'm worried as well, I'm almost a week late, and with everything that's going on I can't help but worry that I'm with child and I may never live to see my baby. As the night came to a close and the crew turned in holding their weapons close to them, I went up to the helm to talk to Silas.
"Silas are you alright?"
He shook his head.
"No, I'm afraid, for you, for us."
"Silas, I fear it may not only be us that we need to fear for."
He gave me a confused look as I placed my hands on my gut, his eyes went wide in realization.
"How late are you?"
"Almost a week, I know it might be early to worry, but I am."
"With everything that's going on you choose now to tell me, not to mention you sent away a ship, and a captain who was willing to help us. You might be with child and this is what you do? How reckless can one woman be with the life of her child?"
"Silas please listen, my father won't hurt me."
"No, but he'll kill me, is that what you want?"
I sighed, shaking my head with tears in my eyes as he started to walk away from me.
"Of course not, Silas please."
"No, you're risking everything, and I can't stand by while you make these choices, we'll fight, but I'm not risking anything. You will stay hidden, I can't, I won't put you and what is possibly our child in danger, you can't ask that of me."
I looked away as he left me standing there in sadness, and for the first time in my life, I didn't wish for a baby, I wished I would bleed.
