"You poor little girl. You've been through so much, aren't you?"
"Yes?" Your eyes widened as you were astonished upon her speech.

The weather today was comfortable. Not too hot, not too cold, just perfect to go outside.
Those big oak trees were shading the grey pavements, and the girl in her tone sur tone set of clothes vibing to her favorite playlist. She wore a black loose hoodie and sweatpants with a yellow beanie hat for the touch. Underneath was a pair of sneakers moving with groove when she heard the melody.
That girl was you.
Your eyes casted around to see the street which was more bustling than usual. Well... might be too much of a bustle for an introvert like you. You stopped your feet at the crossroad.
"Where should I go next?" You murmured.
The road straight ahead was a familiar sight, another crowded street. Déjà vu? You rubbed the confusion out of your eyes. Thanks, but I'll pass. Let's see... Turn left then. You looked at the street, at the completely opposite atmosphere to where you were standing. More quiet and peaceful. My ideal space. You chuckled and continued to walk along the pavement.
Breezes started blowing by your skin, followed by a stronger one when you were picking another playlist. Your whole body froze. It was like a force trying to stop you from moving forward. You reached your hand up to take out the left earbud, eyes glancing around to figure out what just happened.
What... is this store? Your eyes widened when you acknowledged the existence of a building on your left, quite a quaint and interesting one to appear in this street. Le Mystique - that was its name, carved on the rectangular wood sign and hung on the side of the wall. You looked at those dark brown bricks dressing up the facade intently, sensing the old and mysterious vibe of the 19th century.
Standing in front of the speakeasy door, you had never once felt this strong urge to do something. And in this case, to walk inside despite the resistance you put on your body. I can't... You surrendered to your inner voice with a long sigh and headed towards the entrance door. Taking a moment to prepare your heart, you finally pushed down the handle.

A sound echoed through the silent room. It was from the rustic gold bell - the shopkeeper bell or so they called. The glimmer managed to strike two arch windows on both sides, helping you to have a sight of a room. Merely one third actually.
Your eyes glanced at the three wooden racks, one in the middle and two against the wall, displaying different types of goods but were unable to assume whether they were all antiques. You tightened your grip on the handle and gazed sightlessly into the darkness, not wanting to make any further approaches.
"Hello." You raised your voice to seek the owner or a source of life in this place. "Is anybody here?"
A faint sound came out before you saw a yellow dot glowing in the air, a flame at the end of the room, moving down a side to share its light then vanished in the night.
"Ah! A customer." There was a hoarse voice overlapped by the footsteps coming to your place. "Please do come in."
You were astounded at the lady in front of your eyes, hiding her face under the tulle veil. The Lady was in her black satin dress with long trumpet sleeves and lace hem, which reminded you of the women in the Victorian Era, but a darker age.
