Week 36

Ashton (her pov)

It was 2:30am and I was wide awake, staring at the wall. I lay there for awhile, then got up and got a children's Tylenol. Hopefully it's safe to drink it. Then I went down stairs to the kitchen and ate cheerios with Vegemite like I usually do every night. Ashton doesn't know this is how I spend my nights because I sneak back into bed before sunrise. I know he wants me to wake him when I can't sleep but what more can he do? Its kinda impossible for me to sleep with the baby kicking my ribs and the aching pains. So I peacefully sat there eating my snack in the dark. Then I heard foot steps. It can only be one person. "Mandy? Is that you?" He said half a sleep with his hair a curly mess, then he ran into the wall. I giggled, "yes" he sat across from me rubbing his head. "Good because I thought you were a robber and we both know how id be with a robber." He chuckled. I love how he hasn't given me the 'wake me if you cant sleep' talk yet. He looked at my snack and pointed to it saying, "Are you having a snack without me?! Im going to have some've that!" He grabbed the box of cheerios and put his hand in the box. We sat there for the rest of the night eating.
Calum (her pov)

I was reviewing all type of information mostly about labor. It's been a while since my last class so I just wanted a refresher. I felt a kiss on my neck. "Hey, whatca doing?" He rested his head on my shoulder looking at the screen. I was actually in a good mood so I didn't tell him to get off. "Reviewing labor stuff." I said as I scrolled through the info. "Oh yeah, we should also go over my birth plan." I pulled up the document. I like to write/type things down. "Here's what I got:

-partner: Calum Hood present at all times

-I'd like to spend the first stage of labor at home-- if its ok with you. Ive already gone over it with my doctor" he nodded his head and I continued, "-id like family members Joy and Mali-koa Hood to join me and baby in the room later" I kept reading him the rest of the list. "Any questions? " I asked looking over at him. He looked like a lost puppy trying to process all that info. Labor isnt as easy as just going to the hospital. "What If I'm not home or with you when you go into labor? What about your dad and sisters?" He asked. "For the second question, I'll call my dad after the babies born and he'll fly here-just him. The rest of my sisters and stepmom will join later because they have school. For the first, home will be our base. Is that it it?" I closed the document making sure my doctor got it. "Yep, hopefully things go as planned." He smirked rubbing my bump. "Hopefully."
Luke (her pov)

I leaned on the kitchen counter drinking coffee. Luke walked in scratching the side of his head. Then he bent down and kissed my belly, "Hey there big guy!" Then he kissed my forehead, "Good Morning honey! How are you feeling?" He asked reaching for the coffee mug to pour himself a cup. "I'm fine just making it through. Why are you so happy this morning? " i giggled. He wrapped his arms around me so my back was in his chest. "What? I can't be happy to wake up to my lovely pregnant wife?!" He grinned. "Lovely is a bit of a long shot. " I've been not so nice to him lately- thanks hormones. I'm just grateful he's still here. "No its not. Whats the plans for today?" We started swaying back and forth. I took a sip of my coffee. What would anyone do without cofee? "I was thinking we do some cleaning around the house cause god knows when we'll get to after the baby. We should also go to the grocery store and get frozen foods so we have something to eat. I dont think Im going to cook a chicken dinner with a screaming baby. Then after all of that im getting a low maintenance haircut." I said looking around our house. Let's face it, this house is such a mess and its going to get 10xs messier after the baby's born. "How about you give me a list of what needs cleaning, besides the obvious and ill do it so that way you can get your haircut without falling asleep. Then we both can go to the food store and get what we both want." Luke said then drank his coffee. "Why are so smart?" I joked and pulled out a piece of paper to write everything down. I doubt Lukes going to do every single thing on the list but it's better then nothing.

By the end of the day we were both whiped. I got about three inches cut off so my hair was a little passed my shoulders. Luke actually did a good job cleaning. The house looks great. Let's see how long it last for...
