Ashton (her POV)
Ashton and I were out celebrating yet another number one radio song with the rest of the boys and their wives. I wasn't really up to going since I haven't been feeling well all day but I couldn't let him be dateless at a party celebrating his hard work. "Just another hour then I promise we can leave," Ashton softly said in my ear then kissed my cheek. It was late and everyone around me was having a great time laughing and drinking and so was I, except for the drinking part, of course. But I was exhausted and all I could think about was being in my cozy pajamas cuddling in bed with Ashton. "Mandy, you're making us seem like we're alcoholics here," Michael gestured to my glass of water, catching me off guard because I thought my non-drinking had gone unnoticed by now. I shrugged, thinking about how I should word my response because Ashton and I hadn't discussed when we were going to tell the boys. Though if I had to guess, he probably was eager to tell his best friends his news. "It's not like you're pregnant, right?" Luke slurred, laughing. I felt everyone's eyes when I didn't immediately deny it and I looked at Ashton, giggling and nodding my head. "What can I say," I pointed to Ashton with my thumb, "this guy knocked me up." I smiled at Ashton, his smile matching mine. The boys jumped on him and ruffled his hair while the girls hugged me. "We're having a baby," Ashton yelled excitedly, raising his drink up. I cuddled into his side, resting my head on his shoulder watching as the night turn into a celebration about our baby rather than a number one song.
Calum (her POV)
"Do you know what you're going to get, Rache?" Calum asked, looking at me over his menu. I scanned the menu, trying to find something that didn't make me nauseous just by reading it. "I'm not sure... Everything makes me sick," I replied truthfully. The morning sickness and nausea were really hitting me hard and I was beginning to be quite over it. Then I got to the dessert page, "Actually, I'll get the chocolate cake." I said. Calum raised an eyebrow then chuckled, "Dessert first?" I nodded, "Chocolate seems to be the only thing I can keep down." I set aside my menu, satisfied with my decision. "Alrighty, then dessert first for you." When the waiter took Calum's then my order she gave me a smile before she walked away. "Calum, I think the waiter thinks I'm pregnant," I said softly so no one else could hear. We were sitting at a table off in the corner to have a little privacy but a few girls had inevitably noticed Calum. His face was blank, "But you are." I continued, "we haven't really discussed when we're going to tell the public. The doctor said it's safe to start telling people at around 10 weeks but if it's okay with you I'd like to wait longer, with our families being the exception of course. I like just having this to us for now." Both Calum and I were pretty private about our relationship and I want my pregnancy to be no different. "No, I agree one hundred percent. I like the idea of just keeping it in the family but I think I should tell the boys before the news gets leaked and they hear it from someone else. They're basically family as well, you know?"
Luke (his POV)
I placed my keys on the hook on the wall, arriving home from a management meeting. "Sam, I'm home," I called through the house in search of my wife. There was no answer. "Sam?" I yelled and no answer again. I started making my way upstairs, "Sam, baby where are you? Why aren't you answering me?" As I walked through our bedroom I heard her sighing loudly and groaning. I opened the master bathroom door and saw her standing in front of the mirror, red with frustration, fingering at her face. "Hey, what's the matter, love?" I asked wrapping my arms around Sam but she wiggled out of my grip. "Look at all these break-outs I have all over my face." She pointed them out to me then mumbled, "I haven't had zits like this since I was a teenager." She continued to rub and picked at her face as if it would make them go away. Then she started going through all cabinets looking for acne-prone products. When she struggled to find something she let out a loud sigh and sat back on her knees. "Love, you're making it worse than it is." I said crouching down to her level. "I swear didn't notice it till you said something but if it's bothering you that much I can go to the store and get things to help." She took a deep breath, "Ok," she whispered falling into my arms. "I know I'm probably just over-reacting... damn hormones." She softly chuckled. "It's okay, Sam. You know I've heard if a pregnant woman gets breakouts like this she's having a girl because she's taking your beauty," I said already gender predicting. "Maybe, but I think it's a boy."
Michael (his POV)
"It looks amazing, mum," I said looking at the prepared salmon in front of me. "Yes, thank you, Karen," Charlotte added. I held her hand under the table with my parents sitting across from us. "Of course, darling. I'm glad you two could make it, it's been way too long." I felt Charlotte gently squeeze my hand and I gave her a side glance. She was looking down at her plate, making a strange face while we began eating. "So what have you two been up two?" My dad asked in between bites. "Not much,-" I began then was cut off, "Excuse me," Charlotte said, holding her hand over her mouth as she rushed to the bathroom. Her morning sickness hadn't been that bad at all, almost non-existent so this was a shock to me. Both of my parents looked at me, concerned. "I should go check on her," I stood up from the table. "Are you okay, babe?" I asked opening the door then kneeling down behind Charlotte rubbing her back. She lifted her arm to flush the toilet. "All done?" She silently nodded and we both stood up. "That smell of salmon really got me," she cringed then we sat back down at the table when she was ready. "Everything alright, dear? My cooking doesn't smell that bad, does it?" My mum joked and Charlotte shook her head smiling, "No, I'm sorry I promise it's not your cooking," she paused and we both looked at each other grinning. "Oh my, your pregnant?" My mum gasped. "Yes," she answered. "With twins," I added and my parents were absolutely thrilled. "Wait how did you know?" Charlotte asked my mum who was tearing up with joy. "The smell of fish made me sick when I was pregnant with Mikey."
