"I—I'm—Sorry—Didn't know" you stammered. Your face was red and tears began to stream from your eyes as you looked at the beautiful, black haired woman who stands in Eren's apartment. "Leave. Now." She spoke angrily. You immediately got up and walked out the door, not looking at Eren at all. Your vision was blurry, you could barely see the stairs infront of  you as you left Eren's apartment. You were crying so hard, your eyes swelling and stinging with each breath you took. The cold October air hit you hard with each grasp of breath, almost knocking the wind out of you. You almost made it down the stairs but tripped and missed the last two stairs, falling backwards and sliding down the remainder of the staircase. You grabbed your wrist in pain. You couldn't see it, but you felt a sting. You didn't think it was broken, but you definitely cut it open. You sat there, bawling. Completely embarrassed and destroyed. "I should have listened to my gut. What is wrong with me" you cried.

You knew you couldn't drive. Not in your mental condition and not with your vision being like it was from crying. You sat there, defeated and broken. "I have to get away from here." You cried to yourself. You tried slowing your breathing to catch your breath and opened your eyes further, allowing you to see your phone as you pulled it out. The screen was bright, still fuzzy from how swollen your eyes were from crying. There was only one person you could think of that could help. You hesitated, but dialed the number and wait as you controlled your breathing enough to hopefully sound coherent. The phone rang twice until it was answered. "What's going on?" The immediate concern in his voice made your crying come back full throttle. "Y/n, breathe. Tell me where you are." You began to hyperventilate in between your cries as you attempted to speak. "Le—Levi. I need—help." You managed to sputter.

"Text me your location." He demanded. You squinted your eyes and opened them as wide as you could get so you could text Levi the address. "S-S-sent." You cried. "I'll be there in 10. Don't move." He hung up. You managed to stand up, your ass sore from the fall. You waddled your way back to your car. "How mortifying. Sitting outside of your coworkers apartment, who you were hooking up with, as  the two of you get caught by presumably his girlfriend, and the the only person you can call is your boss. Levi's going to say 'I told you so'" You curled your knees to your chest and hugged them as you laid your head on your knees. The cold air made your tears sting, your nose and face was red, freezing to the touch. You closed your eyes in an attempt to help stop crying. Five minutes seemed to pass by until you heard car tires squealing into the parking lot. You whip your head back up to look in the direction of the noise. Levi's mustang whipped into the parking lot and pulled up sideways next to you, not caring about the parking spots. He hurried out of the car and ran to you, bending down to the ground where you sat.

You couldn't look at him. You barely wanted him seeing you this way. Today has been completely humiliating. Levi's hand gently tipped your head up, making you look at him. You frown as he stares at you. "Sorry—I called" you managed to escape in between soft cries. "Shut up." He snapped. His head turned around, observing the parking lot. He stared in the direction of your car. "What did Eren do? I know that is his car beside yours." He growled as he bent back down to you. "Levi—I can't see—well. Cried too hard. Can—You drive me somewhere?" You softly ask, embarrassed. He sighed. "Yes. Once you've calmed down you're going to tell me everything. You'll stay at my place tonight, get your car tomorrow. You need real sleep." You nodded. Levi grabbed your hand to help you stand up, but he grabbed the wrist that was cut. "Ow!" You yelped from the shock. "Did he hit you?!" He yelled. "No....I fell down those stairs." You admitted. He shook his head.

Levi picked you up, bridal style to carry you to his car. His arms cradling you. Your face was red with embarrassment. "Levi, I can—walk. I'm calming down." Tears still flowing from your eyes. "Shut up. You're still crying." He said softly as he laid you down in the passenger seat of his car. "I—can't stop." You whispered as your tears continued. Levi sighed. "I know. It's alright." You cried quietly to yourself on the drive to Levi's. He didn't push any questions. He remained quiet, allowing you to calm down. You hated to admit it, but his presence helped ground you. You felt safe, like every other time you have felt when it's the two of you alone. You felt the change from paved roads to gravel drive, alerting you that you were getting close to Levi's place. You wiped your eyes with your hands, wiping the excess tears away from your face. Levi pulled into his garage, quickly shutting the garage door behind you. Before you could move, Levi was already out of the car and opening your door. "Levi, please. I can get up this time." "Tsk. Fine. Just don't trip again." He fired back at you with a hint of sarcasm. The two of you walked into his house and headed for the living room. Levi walked infront of you. "Sit on the couch. I'm going to tend to your wounds." You did as you were told. You stare down at your feet hanging off the couch. You felt numb.
