You stood there, dumbfounded. "Stay? Stay?? Are you kidding me?", you seethed. Levi quickly shifted, sitting up and covering himself with the sheets. He just stared at you, stoic as he ever is, but with slight concern written on his face. "What the hell even is this?" Your hands waved in circles between the two of you. "It's been a while so—" he began before you cut him off.

"You're ridiculous. I mean this as nicely as I can, I am thankful for the things you've done for me, but you are the most confusing man I've ever met. Each day I can't tell what you want from me, and I don't mean about work. Some days you seem jealous and protective and then the next I feel like a nuance even to breathe in the same room as you. It's exhausting! I thought this was going to be settled. I tried resigning, to get away so I wasn't this burden on you and yet you don't let me. You're playing with my emotions and I CANNOT keep doing this. So either decide what it is that you want and stick with it so that I can focus on what I need to do." You raged, speaking so fast that all your sentences ran together with anger. There was so much pent up anger and you were tired of crying. You were dried up at this point. You turned quickly on your heels, leaving Levi with his mouth slightly parted and eyebrows furrowed. It's time I put my foot down, you thought confidently.

You grabbed your keys and storm off in your car back toward the bar. "I'm either getting shit faced or sleeping there but either way I'm not staying here", you began to plan in your mind.

Your phone vibrated against your car console as you drove, not bothering to look at it because you already knew it was Levi.

Your parking spot was empty, although now occupied by your car once again as you parked. It wasn't too late, but late enough for a good crowd to be packed into the bar.

"ID?" The unfamiliar blonde bouncer asked you. You cleared your throat, "Oh, I don't think we've met. I'm Y/N, I work with uhm, Captain. I'm his assistant." You kindly responded, hoping you wouldn't have to walk all the way back to your car to get your ID. The man narrowed his eyes at you and stood looking down at you. He was wearing short sleeves even though it was starting to be the cold part of fall. He was very well built and had chiseled muscles that were visible through his shirt. You could see why he was chosen to be a bouncer. 'I wouldn't want to mess with this guy', you thought to yourself as nerves found your way into your stomach.

"Sorry, don't recognize you. No ID, no entry" the blonde deadpanned at you, seemingly unbothered. Your mouth opened but were cut off by Jean running toward the door. "Reiner, Y/N works here. She's Captain's assistant and roommate, let her in." Jean frowned at him. Reiner looked back at you with his face a little more relaxed. "Fine." He responded flatly.

You followed Jean through the doors. "He's a peach" you sarcastically commented only loud enough for Jean to hear. He chuckled. "Yeah all the ladies love him because he's dark and brooding, but he takes his job a bit too seriously. Can be a real buzzkill." He added.

"Wait what are you doing here? You were off today?" You asked Jean quizzically.

Jean swung his drink up towards you, giving cheers in the air. "Day off and yet it's one of the only things to do in this town, so here I drink. Some of the others are here just hanging out. Wanna join?" He asked as he chugged the rest of whatever cocktail he was drinking as kept eye contact with you.

You smiled. "Absolutely. I'll grab a drink and head over to where you guys are sitting" You watched as Jean sauntered over to the corner where you see Armin, Sasha, Niccolo, and Eren. You turn toward the car, watching Connie pour drinks as you approached. Connie noticed you from the corner of his eye as he finished sliding a drink down the table, grinning from ear to ear at you. "Hey, Y/N! You hear for work or pleasure?" "I'm here to get shit faced so pour me my usual. Actually, go ahead and make me two." You responded. "One Jack and Coke coming right up! I'll go easier on the liquor this time." He gave you an exaggerated wink as he poured your glasses. You rolled your eyes and smiled watching him as he loaded your drinks with whiskey.
