"Shit!" You shrieked as you dropped one of Levi's glass containers onto the hardwood floor. Each shard scattered across the kitchen floor. You stood defeated as you stared at it, as if staring would put the pieces back into place. Levi quickly opened his bedroom door, now fully alert from your cry. He assessed the situation and began to frown. "I just bought that last week." He griped. "Yes, Levi. I'm okay, thank you for asking." You sarcastically mumbled as you begin to tip toe around the glass to reach the broom and dust pan. He rolled his eyes and muttered something you couldn't hear under his breath. As you finished sweeping you watched Levi grab his car keys from the kitchen island. "Where are you going? Are you not going to help prepare for the party with us?" You questioned. Levi turned his head to you as he continued to walk to the garage. "That's funny. If I recall, I never said I would help. This is your party. Do whatever you have to do. I have errands to run. I'll be back later when the party starts to make sure all of our delinquent acquaintances don't destroy the house." Levi motioned a goodbye wave as he continued out the garage to get into his mustang. "I guess getting his help was wishful thinking." You sighed out loud.Levi's drive is quiet, smooth jazz playing over the radio as he drives into town. Orange and yellow leaves were scattered along the ground, crunching under the tires of the mustang. He felt his phone vibrating in the passengers seat. With his eyes still focused on the road, Levi grabbed the phone and hit answer. "Leviiiiiiii! When does the party start? I need to know how early is too early to come over!" Hange eagerly asked. "I don't know. Call Y/N, she is planning the party. I'm not even home." He irritatingly barked back. "Ouch Levi. I don't know what put you in a bad mood but you need to snap out of it. You probably just haven't gotten laid in a while. I know that makes some men very aggressive." Hange continued to rambled on, spewing scientific facts on male hormones. "Goodbye." Levi began to hang up. "Wait! I'm sorry, I shouldn't have rambled. Believe it or not, there was another reason I called. I actually wanted to ask what costume you were wearing tonight?" Her tone more calm than before. "Is that supposed to be a joke?" Levi laughed sarcastically. "Levi. You have to wear a costume. Y/N has been looking forward to this for weeks! It would make her so happy to have you participate even somewhat!" Levi paused for a moment. "Even if I wanted to wear a costume, I don't know what I would wear. I'm running some errands but will be back at the house later when the party starts." Levi awkwardly replied. "Oh, don't worry Levi. I have some ideas!" Hange cheered.
Connie, dressed as a ribeye steak, poured whiskey into a shot glass as you watched from the barstool. At the kitchen stove, you watched Nicolo dressed in his chef's outfit work his magic on creating Halloween themed food for the party. Sasha hung over his shoulder, dressed in her potato costume, ready to be the taste tester with every ingredient Nicolo added. You smiled as you watched your friends interact and do what they do best. It was nice being surrounded by your new friends. A shot glass slid across the island, coming to a stop right in front of your seat. You look up to see Connie smirking. "Alright, Y/N. It's your favorite whiskey. Take a shot with me!" You rolled your eyes. "Just this one for now. I still gotta make a special drink I have planned, and I may need my full motor skills to do that." You giggled. "On three. One...Two...Three!" Connie exclaimed as the two of you threw back your shots and slammed the shot glass on the counter. Connie's mouth scrunched up in disgust. "I do not know how you even drink that." He cringed as he chased his whiskey with a Coca Cola that was sitting beside him. You laughed at his weak attempt to pretend like he was cool. The tea kettle began to steam, a sharp whistle now echoing from the stove. "Okay, Y/N. Your tea is ready!" Nicolo called to you as he stirred his own concoction on the stove eye. You smiled as you walked over to Levi's favorite Earl Gray tea and began to pour it into its own pitcher. Over on the counter you grabbed the bourbon that laid beside Connie's other alcohol bottles he had brought specifically for the party. You poured a generous amount into the pitcher and stirred thoroughly. "This is for Levi, so don't touch this one. I think this would be the closest thing he would drink. Now that I've finished, I think it's time for me to hop into my costume!" You informed your friends. Sasha turned around and grinned. "I can't wait to see what it looks like on!" She squealed.
