You and Barney were soulmates. You two were the living definition of "Match made in heaven". Or maybe that title went to Marshmallow and Lilypad... Yes, you did have your ups and downs with each other, but it was all worth it in the end. Ellie was happy knowing that her parents were a couple. You and Barney had been dating for a few years now.
One night, Barney took you to a romantic dinner and then took you back home for you to find rose pedals on the floor with nothing but a small box on the coffee table. You gasped at this. Barney walked up to the box and took it. He came back to you and looked you in the eyes. He got down on one knee and opened the box.
"Without you in my life, I wouldn't be complete. I love you more than anything in the world. Your my everything. Will you marry me?" Barney asked. Your eyes started to water with tears of joy.
"Yes! Yes!" You exclaimed. Barney stood up and took your left hand. He placed the diamond ring on your finger lightly. You both leaned into kiss each other and you both smiled.
"Ellie! You can come out now! Mommy said yes!" Barney shouted, looking at the stairs of your home. Your daughter, now almost six years old came running down the stairs and looked the happiest she had ever been.
"Guess what! Guess what!" Ellie said to you.
"What is it?" You said, excitedly.
"I put the flower pedals on the ground!" She told you full of energy and excitement.
"You did a wonderful job my beautiful girl!" You said, giving her a hug and kiss. You then looked at Barney and kissed him. "I'm so excited to marry you."
"So am I." He replied with a big smile on his face.
The day of the wedding was amazing. Ellie was your flower girl, Lily, Robin and your best friend you had since elementary school were your brides maids, Ted and Marshall were the best men for Barney. Robin told you about how for her's and Barney's wedding, they had a ring bearur. For your wedding, you made sure you had a ring bearer.
A year later, you and Barney welcomed a son into your family. You named him "Theodore "Ted" Marshall Stinson". You almost gave him the middle name "Wait-For-It", but that was taken by your "nephew" Marvin Wait-For-It Eriksen Jr.
You, your husband and kids spent the rest of your lives happy and healthy.

"And kids, that is the story of how your Uncle Barney came to the light side." Ted concluded to Penny and Luke.
"Did you just tell us this story to brag again about how someone named they're kid after you?" Penny asked.
"No..." Ted said, uncertainly.
"Dad..." Luke said, looking at him sternly.
"Fine! It's just such a great honor and it's the achievement I'm most proud of!" Ted admitted.
"We get it I guess. So when do you think is the next time we will see them?" Penny asked.
"I don't-" Ted tried to answer. The doorbell then rang. Luke got up from the couch and answered the door.
"Uncle Barney! Aunt Y/N!" Luke shouted. Ted and Penny heard him from the living room and got up quickly and ran to the door.
"Hey guys! Come in!" Ted said, excitedly. You, Barney, Ellie and Ted-Marshall walked in.
"So when were here, we have to call you Uncle Ted because you know." You explained, looking at Ted.
"Yeah yeah I know." Ted replied.
"Dad was actually telling us the story of how you met." Penny said. "He just did it so he can brag about his honor again though."
"Of course." Barney said, laughing.
The End.
