Y/N POV
It was raining really hard outside. There was thunder and even some lightning. Me and James are currently watching tv in the living room and cuddling on the couch. James had his arms around me and it made me feel safe. James shut off the tv. James stood up and put his hand out for me to take. I take it and I get up. We walk upstairs to the bedroom. James shuts the door behind him as we walk into the room. We went on the bed and started to kiss. It turned into a hot make out session. After a few minutes of making out, James looked into my eyes.
"Are you ready for this?"he asked.
I knew what he meant. I'm really scared. I shake my head as I start to cry. I stand up and I put hands over my face still crying. James got up and walked over to me.
"Babe if you're not ready yet, I'm okay with that. We don't need to do it yet. I love you and I would do anything to make you happy. I never want you to feel pressured into doing anything,"he hugged me tightly.
"Thanks for understanding. I'm sorry,"I say.
"Don't apologize. It's perfectly fine,"he smiled.
"I'm sorry. I'm just scared because once I had a boyfriend and he used me for sex and it was the worst feeling,"I said crying more into James' shirt.
"Aww baby. I would never do that,"he rubbed my back.
"How about we go downstairs and get some ice cream?"he asked.
I nod and we go downstairs in the kitchen and get ice cream. We sat on the couch and watched a movie while eating our ice cream. We finished our ice cream but continue to watch the movie. I look up at James to see that he was already looking at me. I smile. I'm so lucky to have him in my life. I will forever be thankful to have him as my boyfriend and best friend. He smiled back at me. He looked deeply into my eyes and leaned in. He kissed me. The kiss was different from any other kiss we had. I loved it. Well I love any kisses from James. But this one was filled with so much passion. I felt loved. We pulled back and he smiled.
"Please never let me go,"I say and hug him tightly.
"I won't baby. I won't,"he hugged me tight and kissed my head.
"Promise?"I ask.
"I promise babe,"he smiles.
I rest my head on his chest and fall asleep.
"Babe wake up. Dinners ready,"I hear James whisper in my ear.
I woke up realizing that I took a nap. I got up and walked into the kitchen and rubbed my eyes.
"Good morning sleepy,"he laughed.
"Not funny,"I pout.
"You're adorable,"he laughed.
"While you were sleeping, I made pasta for dinner,"he smiled.
"Thank you,"I smile and I sit at the table.
We began to eat and we talked a little. We finished eating and we sat on the couch together, just talking about random things.
"How about we watch a scary movie,"he said.
"Sure,"I said not wanting to tell James that I hate scary movies.
In the middle of the movie, I hid my face in James' chest and held onto him tight as he laughed. Mean. I know right.
"James please shut it off,"I said and he didn't say anything.
"James,"I cry, getting really scared.
"Ok ok fine,"he said annoyed and he shut off the tv.
"Did that really scare you?"he asked.
"Yeah,"I say.
"I'm sorry. Let's get some sleep,"he said and we went into the bedroom upstairs. We lay on the bed and got comfortable. James wrapped his arms around me. The only sounds I heard was the rain, thunder, lightning and James' heart beat. I fell asleep and then James fell asleep. I woke up in the middle of the night. I had a nightmare.
"James," I whisper.
"What? Babe go to sleep,"he said.
"No. I had a nightmare and I can't fall asleep,"I say.
James wrapped his arms around me even tighter than before.
"Go back to sleep baby. I'm not going anywhere,"he says
I fell asleep.
