I woke up in the morning to see James still asleep next to me. I smile. This is my husband. The guy that I'm going to be with forever. I couldn't be happier. James slowly opened his eyes and squinted his eyes to look at me. I fell asleep again. I wake up again later to see James next to me.
"Honey,"he whispered.
"What?"I ask.
"Wake up. Me and Emma made breakfast,"he smiled and left, I got up and walked downstairs in the kitchen to see James and Emma sitting at the table. They made pancakes and eggs. I smile and I sit down with them. We all start to eat.
"Mommy?"Emma asked.
"Yeah,"I smile.
"Do you love daddy?"she asks.
"Of course I do,"I look at James and I smile.
"Daddy, do you love mommy?"she asks.
"Yes Emma. I love mommy and you very much. You both mean the world to me,"he smiled.
So this is how I fell in love with my best friend. When I first met James, I thought we would be friends forever. I tried to ignore my feelings for him, but I couldn't. I ended up falling in love with my best friend.
