Y/N POV
For my date with James, I decided to wear something simple because he told me to not wear anything fancy. I wore a flannel, skinny jeans, uggs and a beanie. I straightened my hair and after that, it was 6:30. I am really nervous. I don't know why I should be nervous because I've known him since kindergarten. I heard the doorbell ring. I opened the door to see James standing there dressed in a tee shirt, jeans and converse. He also had flowers in his hands.
"Hi," he smiles.
"Hi James," I smile and we hug each other.
"These are for you. Beautiful flowers for a beautiful girl,"he smiles as he hands me the flowers.
"Thank you,"I take them and I put them into the kitchen. I go back to James.
"Ready?"he asks.
"Yeah,"I say.
James puts his arm around me as we walk to his car. He opened the door for me and I get in.
"Thank you,"I say.
James gets in on the other side.
"Ready?"he asks.
"Yeah,"I say.
"You look nervous,"he says.
"That's because I am,"I say.
"Don't be nervous. Ok so what do you think about going to the movies, dinner and somewhere else. It's a surprise,"he smiles.
"Sounds good but can I ask you something?"I ask.
"Yeah,"he says.
"Can you tell me where your taking me after the movies and dinner?"I ask.
"No,"he says and starts driving.
We get to the movie theatre soon. James parks and looks at me.
"What movie are we seeing?"I ask.
"I was thinking The Fault In Our Stars,"he smiles.
"Ok,"I smile and we get out of the car.
James takes my hand and I look at him. He looked so nervous. I just smile and he smiles back. We get our tickets and we buy popcorn and soda. We go into the theatre and the movie starts soon.
