Chapter Nineteen: Annabeth

This is chapter nineteen in the POV of Annabeth. Rick owns most of these characters.

Chapter Nineteen: Annabeth

Her plan was going great until Mormo and Khione showed up. Gaea called them about the Fift time Percy fell and screamed his head off. Mormo walked through the wall, smoke curling off the end of her dress. She wrapped her cold fingers around Annabeths wrist. The mud holding the three of them (Annabeth, Percy and Dirtface) melted off their wrists and Gaea dissapeared into a layer of dirt. Khione started pulling Percy into the opposite direction of Annabeth, "Percy!" she screamed reaching her hand out. "Annabeth!" He screamed back, grabbing her hand. Mormo pulled harder, Annabeth almost let go of Percy's hand. Khione gave Mormo a look. Almost like a silent conversation. "Look at me!" she yelled at Percy, he whipped his head around and gave her a death stare "What!" he yelled at Khione. What she did next made Annabeth scream in rage. She kissed her boyfriend, his fingertips went cold in her hand. He knocked out, his hand slid out of hers. Rage filled her as she was dragged away from her unconsious boyfriend.

"Let go of me!" Annabeth screamed at the laughing Mormo. "No" she said shrugging her shoulders. Annabeth kicked and screamed as Mormo pulled her farther and farther away.

After screaming for what seemed like hours, Mormo pushed Annabeth into a cage. She sat there and screamed. In anger, sadness she challenged Gaea. This didn't work for her, if anything it made things worse, the tiny lightbulb, the only lightbulb turned off and Annabeth was covered in darkness. She cried herself to sleep. Because not only was she stuck in a cage but she didn't fight Gaea, she gave up easily. She was foolish to think that she would figure out a plan. And now she was trapped in a cage and she was sepparated from her severely injured boyfriend. They were stuck. She let it happen.

She opened her eyes when she heard rocks move. Mormo had a key and she was unlocking the cage. She threw armor at her. "Put them on, you have three minutes to put the most on. I'll give you your sword when the time is right. "No" Annabeth scowled "Do you want to see Percy again?" She asked raising her eyebrows. Annabeth reluctantly put on the helmet, and chest piece on before Mormo grabbed her wrist and pulled her down a narrow tunnel. Rocks and bones stuck out of the ceiling. Annabeth saw a light at the end of the tunnel. They walked through, to Annabeth's horror they were at Gaea's throne. It was made of mud and rocks. Surrounding the throne was every monster Annabeth knew, Dr.Thorn, the Minotar, The Spinx, Furies, the Lemean Lion, Hydras, Empusa's, Gorgon'. There were even some she didn't know. Gaea was sitting in throne with a sleepy grin on her lips. Where was Percy? She kept mumbling under her breath. The monsters were growling things like "Stupid Demi god" "Silence!" Gaea yelled. All the monsters became silent. "I was thinking about letting my monsters fight you, to spill your blood. But I changed my mind. You will fight each other" she said in a pleased voice. Each other? The open tunnel behind them shut. Mormo dissapeared into a wisp of smoke. Annabeth's jaw dropped when she looked over at the other tunnel, Khione walked out, pulling Percy behind her. He had his sword and he was in armor. He didn't see her but he was limping badly. Khione melted into a puddle that instinly dried up. When he saw her his eyes got wide. Gaea wanted them to fight each other, to spill each others blood.
