-Red's POV-
As I was hanging out with Gold and BEN, I had discovered that I could take advantage of this to get Gold to train me.. You see, BEN has an affinity for me, quite the fan. Over the past week he had grown quite close to me, and I can see it is greatly effecting Gold.
¨Hey, BEN? How would you like to meet my Pokémon?¨ I ask, fake enthusiasm lacing my quiet voice.
He gasped with joy, ¨I'D LOVE TO!¨ He shouts happily, slightly startling Ethans, ¨Sorry, hun, didn't mean to scare you...¨ The blonde sheepishly mumbles.
I take out my Moltres, ¨Mol!¨ it yells, BEN runs up to him.
¨OH. MY. GOD. They are SO cool!¨ he hugs my Moltres, I cringe internally, but this is my sacrifice to get to my destination.
"Hey Gold, BEN, wanna go for a walk?" I ask.
"Sure!" BEN squeals.
"I don't have legs-" I cut him off. "Alrighty! Let's go!" I say with a smile. I grabbing the blonde's hand and walk out the door, leaving the forgotten trainer behind. '𝘚𝘦𝘦𝘮𝘴 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘪𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘱𝘭𝘢𝘯.'
-Gold's POV-
They walked out. He left. this is bad this is bad this is bad this is bad- Red is gonna take him away, I'm gonna be alone forever.. BEN... I went through so much to come a back to him. Just for him to fall in love with someone else?! I don't know who I should be mad at, my ex-bestfriend or my literal 𝘩𝘶𝘴𝘣𝘢𝘯𝘥.
I need to leave. Not permanently, but I need a break.. I open the couch-side stand and grab the yellow, lined notepad. I write a message explaining my short absence, place it on the fridge, walk to mine and BEN's room and enter my game console.
