This time, I spit all the coffee that was once in my mouth, all over myself.

"What the hell, are you ok?" She asked as she looked at me in disbelief.

"I...I uh...I'm sure I heard you wrong. You didn't say Harry..." I gulp uncomfortably, wiping my mouth, "...Styles, did you?" I cringe through every second of silence, scared of her response before her words dense the air.

"Do you know him?" She furrowed her eyebrows in confusion.

"No I..." I hesitate, the words hanging heavily from my tongue.

What the hell was I supposed to say? Or...think? Was Selena actually telling the truth?

No...she couldn't have been. There is no was in hell she could've been serious.

"Never heard of him..." I press my lips into a thin line, not knowing what else to say.

"Then why'd you spit your coffee and spill it all over yourself when I mentioned his name?!" She motioned with her hands to the spilled coffee and I look down, flushing a bit.

What in the world was I supposed to say to her now that I know her brother was my demonic ex? How the hell was I supposed to explain that either she's going crazy and Harry isn't here, or that my friend was right that my fucked up ex was coming back for whatever reason?

Hell...no I couldn't. I couldn't tell her. Even if I did, a small little budge of hope nudged that she could be one of those sisters that would beat and yell at their brother for doing something like Harry's done to me. She would save me the punches and yelling and stuff if she was.

However there's always a possibility that she could be one of those super over-protective sisters who would probably either think I'm talking rubbish or beat me saying that he'd never do that and it's my fault.

Way to put yourself in a situation, Niall.

So I decided not to take any chances considering the weight and risk from the second horrifying thought. As much as I wanted to bring him more pain than he's brought me, bringing his sister into all of this is definitely something I'd not prefer.

I don't realize how long I've been staring at the ground before I see her frame go taller as she stands, heaving the strap of her bag and I immediately look up, still at loss of words.

I fidget with my vocal chords before I try speaking in a steady voice, the foreign feeling of talking after a while tugging at my throat, "W-where are you going?" I stand up and adjust my shirt, trying to hide how fidgety I'm getting. Processing all this was way too much that I could take. It didn't make any sense. Was it supposed to anyway?

"Back home. I got a text from Harry that he is left stranded hungry since that dumbass can't cook. Thanks for the coffee, it was great," she fumbled with the strap on her shoulder and looked down, "And you're all of the sudden quiet after I mentioned my brother. You're very confusing," she chuckles slightly and shakes her head before looking at me.

"Sorry, don't know what struck me. Coffee makes me a bit dizzy, I've realized," I can't seem to be able to stop fidgeting with my shirt.

Nice excuse.

She nods, and I notice her confidence in front of me decrease. Dammit.

"Well I'll see you later, Ni," she says making her way to the door making me smile slightly at the name. Maybe I didn't creep her out too much. Glad to know I may not be as intimidating as people tell me I am.
