Lords Series #2: Deceitful Warm (COMPLETED)

CHAPTER 14

IT'S ALREADY NIGHT TIME and Dolion was driving fastly as he could to show Anica that he have something that will make her really happy. He was so excited to see her and show her what he have but that excitement faded in just a second.

While he was driving, he saw two familiar faces in the road — in the sidewalk.

Anica was humping in happiness while walking backwards and Narxixius was smiling on her. Seeing Anica happy makes Dolion smile yet, what happened next was something he didn't expect. Narxixius holds Anica's hand and pulls her closer. Narxixius aimed for her lips. As Narxixius placed a kiss on her lips, Dolion was shocked and didn't know how to react. After a minute, he immediately drove away and didn't aim to see more of that scene.  He don't know why but he feels like his heart was clasp hardly.

Damn. Dolion cussed inside him. When no one is around, he teleported like it's nothing. He then parked his car in his garage. Before he went out his car, he deeply sighed.

Why the fuck I felt like I'm going to explode?!

“Am I jealous? No! No, this can't be. It's impossible. Damn it!” Dolion murmured.

Impossible? Tsk. Stop fooling yourself, dumbass. You may fool everyone but not yourself. Fuck! Yes, I'm fucking jealous!

Dolion went out his car and immediately went inside his gable house. Dumeretso siya sa kanyang  kwarto. Binagsak nya ang sarili sa kama at pinikit ang mga mata. 

“No, Dolion. Love isn't for you. Don't be such a fool, you don't deserve to feel love and be loved. Stop.”

Dolion holds his chest and pats it. “Huwag na, masasaktan ka lang.”

PHONE CALLS, MESSAGES, that's what Dolion received from Anica. Though, Dolion answered none. He just want to isolate himself from her, he don't know what he will do if she sees her. He still don't understand what he feels, do he really love her? Pero, alam nya sa sarili nyang namimiss na niya si Anica. Her absence is making him feel homesick. Sa ilang linggo nilang hindi nagkikita at nag-uusap ay hindi nya maiwasang isipin ito.

Dolion sighed in frustration and went out his room. He straightened to the kitchen to drink. He seems not satisfied with water, he took out a bottle of wine— a Screaming Eagle Cabernet 1992. He literally filled the glass wine and drank it. He keeps on drinking it and didn't even notice that the wine is almost out.

“Fuck it. Ang mahal-mahal mo tapos ang dali mo maubos.” bulong ni Dolion sa sarili at tinunga na ang mismong bote ng wine.

Pagkatapos namang uminom ay deretso ulit sya sa kanyang kwarto. He went to bed and after some minute, he immediately doze off.

ALL HE FELT IS AN mbrace in his face. He was awoken by the soft, warm and comfortable touch. When he opened his eyes, all he saw was Anica's angelic face.  Sa gulat nya'y agad syang napabangon.

“Nic!” he gasped. Anica looked at him with a grimace of worry in her eyes.

“Hi!” she greeted with a fake smile. Dolion stared at her blankly.

“W-Why are you h-here?” he stuttered. He pressed his temple when he felt it was throbbing in pain. Halatang naapektuhan ito ng alak. Bumangon na sya't umalis sa higaan.

“You are not answering my calls and even my messages since you went to the Vice Mayor.”

Dolion looked at her but then he's back on going out his room. Anica followed him. He went to the kitchen and took a glass.

“I'm just busy.” palusot nya habang nilalagyan ng maligamgam na tubig ang kanyang baso.

“With what?” Anica asked while Dolion was drinking.

“Everything.” he irrationally answered. Bahagyang kumunot ang noo ni Anica.

“Stop lying. Are you hiding something from me?”

“Are you doubting me?” Dolion puts the glass of warm water and looked at her plainly. As he stares at her, the scenario of Narxixius kissing her played in his mind.

“H-Hindi naman sa ganoon. It's just... Y-You've been so distant that I can't avoid overthinking.” Anica bites her lower lip and avoided his cold gaze.

“About what?” he sternly asked.

“W-What did you and Vice Mayor t-talked with?” Anica asked making Dolion sniff his frustration. He sadly smiled and shook his head, “So, you're just here to ask me about it and not concern about me, right?”

“It's not like that!” Asik ni Anica.

“Then, what Nic?” He asked out loud that it shocked Anica.

“Why are you being like this, Dolion?” she asked trying to stop her tears in anger.

“You don't need to know.” he coldy answered and walked pass her. He walked towards his room but Anica held his wrist and made him turn around.

“Mag-usap nga tayo ng maayos!” galit na saad ni Anica.

“What do you really want to talk with, huh?” he asked as he clinched his jaw in frustration. Narxixius and Anica kissing flashed in his mind again.

“Ano ba kasi yun? Why are you acting so weird?”

“I am hurting, Anica!” sigaw nya. Anica stilled. It was the first that Dolion shouts on her. Dolion heavily sighed and clinched his jaw.

“I saw you... I saw you kissing with Narxixius.” He avoided his gaze. Seeing that there is a grimace of pain in Anica's eyes hurt him.

“W-What?”

“I fucking saw it! That day I went to met the Vice Mayor, when I was about to go to you, I saw the two of you kissing, Nic!” Dolion said and gulped, “and it hurts. It fucking hurts. I don't know why but that bullshit have been bothering me all along.”

“It's not like what you t-think...”

“Then, what is it? Nic? It's not? Then, what did I saw?”

“You didn't see the whole, Dolion! I didn't liked it. I didn't like that kiss! Don't be one sided!” Anica shouts and a teardrop escaped her eyes.

“H-Hindi ganun iyon...” she sobbed. She wiped her tears away and looked at Dolion.

“Why are you crying?” Dolion asked and he had the urge to go closer to her but he fought himself.

“I-I'm not use to it... H-Hindi ako sanay na l-lumalayo ka s-sakin. H-Hindi ako sanay na g-galit ka sakin, Dolion! Sinanay mo 'kong maingat ka pagdating sakin. I was used by your soft spoken side...” she cried. Dolion seldomly side and pressed his lips shut. He felt guilty.

He went closer to her and hugged her tightly.

“I'm sorry. I'm really sorry.” He whispered. Anica plunged her head in his chest trying to stop her tears.

Dolion cope her face. Anica's face was small enough that Dolion's hands can cover it whole. Dolion used her index fingers in wiping off her tears.

“Shh... Stop crying please. I'm sorry!” He whispered and Anica hugged him. Matangkad si Dolion kaya't hanggang sa balikat nya lang si Anica. He looked down at her and aimed for her lips.

He softly kissed her. It was a soft kiss that lasted for a minute before Dolion stated to move his lips. It delivers thousands of butterflies in his stomach when Anica answered his kisses.

Dolion slides his hands to her waist and pulls her closer. He kisses her deeply and Anica is welcoming all his kisses and answers it. Dolion sucks her lower lip that it made Anica groan. Dolion was taking steps closer to the door of his room while kissing her. He opened his door and carried Anica. He pinned her in the wall and continues to kiss her. He stopped for a while and looked at Anica. Anica was catching for air with her eyes close. Dolion touched her lips with his thumb and kissed her again. He carried her and made her lay down on his bed as he continues to kiss her deep.

He bites her lower lip softly and sucks it. He pulled himself away and plunged his head on her neck.

“I like you, Nic.” he whispered.
