Chapter 11: Back To Normal
2 days pass and TK go's back to work. TK walks in and sees everyone in the common room. He go's in and everyone gives him a hug and welcomes him back. Then he go's into the changing room and gets into his uniform. After he sees Casey at his locker.
"Hey Captain." Says TK.
"Oh hey TK." Says Casey.
"How are you doing." He says.
"Oh you know just trying to get back to normal." Says TK.
"Well if you need to talk I'm always available." Says Casey.
"Thanks Casey." He says and he walks out.
Then TK go's out to the ambo. In the ambo him and Brett talk and organize gauze. Then they get a call.
"Ambulance 61 man down from unknown causes 6361 Chicago avenue." Says the dispatcher.
"Do you want to drive." Asks Brett.
"Sure." Says TK hoping in on the driver's side.
He starts the ambo, turns on the sirens, and dives off. At the house they find the woman laying on the floor with wound on her head so they gauze her up, put her on the stretcher, and load her up in the ambulance. Then TK gets in the driver's side and drives the ambulance to Chicago Med. After dropping the woman off at Med the paramedics get back in the ambulance and drive back to the firehouse. Once they get back they hop out and head to the common room for some breakfast. Then they get a few more calls and their shift is finally over.
TK walks to his car with Brett and Casey like he usually dose and talks to them about his life and how their wedding plans are going. Then he gets in his car and drives home. Once he gets home he gets out of his clothes and puts on something more comfy and then heads to bed to get some more sleep. After getting some sleep he wakes up and heads down stairs to watch some tv well waiting for Carlos to come home. Once Carlos is home he makes dinner and then him and TK sit down at their table and eat and talk about their days. Then Carlos go's to bed and TK stays up little later and watches some more tv. After a few hours TK starts to get tired and heads to bed and falls asleep for the night.
