Chapter 12

Chapter 12: Friends are Family

TK walks into Molly's to find Brett sitting at a table with a mineral water already there for him so joins her and they talk about how the rest of their days went. Then TK asks where Casey is.

"So Sylvie where is Casey?" He asks.

"Oh him and Severide had to do something so it's just me tonight." She says.

"Oh well Carlos couldn't make it tonight either, he had to catch up on some work things." Says TK.

"Oh well I'm glad you're here, you know your like part of my family now right?" Says Sylvie taking a sip of her wine.

"Yeah that's right." Says TK.

"Cheers!" He says raising his glass.

"Cheers" She says back clinking her glass to his.

Then they about other like weddings, and future kids and stuff like that. Then Brett decides that she wants to head home so she says goodbye to TK and then walks out the door. Then TK heads home too and when he gets there he takes off his shoes, go upstairs, gets ready for bed, and then gets into bed with Carlos who is already asleep. The next morning TK wakes up to Carlos already gone so he gets up, makes himself some breakfast and sits down on the couch to eat it.

Then a few hours later he gets a phone call from Brett asking if he would like to go out to lunch with her so they do. In the restaurant they order their food and then talk about the ambulance. Then their food arrives so they eat and they pay and walk out together. They hug and say goodbye to each other and then they get in their cars and drive away. Once at home TK go's in, takes off his shoes and then sits on the couch and watches tv.

A few more hours go by and Carlos comes home. He makes dinner for him and TK and then they eat it and talk about his day. Then they cuddle on the couch and watch tv for little while. Finally they go to bed for the night and wake up the next morning they wake up and get ready for work.
