Chapter 15: Reasons
The next night TK was hanging out at Molly's with Severide for some reason.
"So why aren't Brett and Casey here?" TK asks.
"They had other stuff to do." Says Severide winking at him.
TK thinks about it for a minute and then realizes what he meant and stops asking questions. A few minutes later Stella comes over with some beers for her and Severide and another mineral water for TK. Then she sits down and joins into their conversation. TK is really good friends with Stella and thinks she is a really good firefighter.
"So TK where's your lovely husband tonight?" Asks Stella.
"Oh you know he had to catch up on some work again tonight." TK says.
He realizes that Carlos hasn't come to Molly's with TK since they first came here. TK continues his conversation with Stella and then decides to head home. Once he gets home, he go's up to Carlos's at home office.
"Hey baby how was your night?" Asks Carlos.
"Oh you know it was alright, Brett and Casey weren't there though." Says TK.
"Oh." Says Carlos turning from his desk to give TK a kiss.
"Hey can I ask you something?" Says TK.
"Sure baby what's up?" Asks Carlos.
"Why do you never come to Molly's with me?" Asks TK.
Carlos gives him a sad face.
"Well you know I have stuff to catch up from work ever since I got the job as a detective." He says.
"But do you really have it every night?" Asks TK.
"TK don't be that way." Says Carlos.
"Well how can I not be when my husband never go's out with me anymore." Says TK.
"Hey baby listen." Says Carlos.
"NO I'M DONE LISTENING TO YOUR BULL SHIT." Yells TK and walks out of the office and then out of their apartment.
Carlos stands there in shock that TK got angry like that but then he just go's back to work. TK walks down the street looking at all the people in the buildings around him still angry. Tears start to roll down his face as thinks about the fight him and Carlos just had. He doesn't go back though he just keeps walking until he can't walk anymore. He stops at a café and go's in and orders a drink and then sits down and thinks some more about the reasons why he had gotten angry at Carlos.
