Few Months Later
SEAN'S POV
Things have been going great with my relationship with Kierra, but lately we've been having problems with Marsai. She's been talking back, not turning in her assignments at school, and has skipped school before.
This is not like her and we're trying to see what has happened in the past months for her to switch up like this.
"Babe!" Kierra called out. I'm currently in my office working on a few things for my album release.
"In the office Ki!" I yelled back out to her. I replied to a few more emails when Kierra walked into the room.
"Babe, the school just called. Marsai hasn't made it to any of her morning classes." She said. I just shook my head and closed out of my emails and work stuff.
"Man, Ki I really don't know what's going on with her." I said.
"I really think something serious is happening and she's just not telling us. She's never been disobedient to us at all. I'm worried baby." Kierra said.
"Come here." She walked towards my desk and sat on my lap. She placed her arms around my neck.
"It'll be alright. We just gotta have a real talk with her because clearly what we've been doing isn't clicking." I said.
"Yeah but baby her skipping classes and acting up in unacceptable. I don't play about that and she needs to be disciplined." Kierra said.
"I'm not sure about that. I've never whooped her or had a need to really discipline her like that. We'll just put her on punishment." I suggested.
Kierra just looked at me.
"Sean you're too easy on her and that's why she's been getting away with this behavior lately. Clearly taking her phone isn't working so we need to be stricter." She said.
"I know but maybe we should see what's going on before we decide. How about that?" I said.
"Yeah but we gotta figure out where she at since she's not at school. The school says she'll have in school suspension because of their no skipping policy."
"Alright. Meet in in the car and we'll head out." I kissed her lips before she got up to leave the room. I sat for a minute to see how imma handle this situation. MarMar never does anything bad and she's my babygirl so of course I go easy on her.
Kierra is more strict than I am so I don't even know how this conversation is going to go.
MARSAI'S POV
Being in high school is not what I expected. I get treated worse and the whole "celebrity kid" status makes me feel like an outcast.
It's almost as if I'm automatically labeled the "cool kid" because of who my Dad is and it gets irritating. I never know who likes me for me or just wanna get close to my family. I don't have many friends except for my two best friends.
I haven't told anyone, except my friends, but I've been getting bullied a lot on social media and I feel like it's someone from my school is running these hate pages. The things they say to me on Twitter and Instagram are so mean and they know my exact class schedules so that's why I think it's someone at school. Their messages have been getting weirder so I would rather skip school to avoid the drama.
Once Ki dropped me off school today, I met up with DeMari & Lauren across the street at Wendy's, facing my school. I couldn't deal with school today so we're skipping and chilling downtown at the mall. We haven't been getting caught the past month so we should be good today.
