Sean

Once Marsai calmed down a bit, we sat around joking and talking about other things until someone knocked on the door.

Kierra stood to answer and it was her family with tons of balloons and flowers. It was her mom, Aunt Dorinda, and Aunt Jacky.

"Hey y'all!" Dorinda said as she placed flowers next to the table by Marsai. She gave Marsai a kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you Auntie DoeDoe." Marsai said. "Hey Nana and Auntie Jacky." She added. Aunt Jacky looked over at me and gave me a hug. She also gave Marsai and Kierra one too.

"Thanks for coming by. I thought you all had rehearsals at the church?" Kierra asked them.

"We do but we had to stop by to see what's going on." Her mom, Mama Karen said.

"Sean I thought you were out of town?" Jacky said.

"At first I was in Los Angeles but once I found out about the incident, I flew back home." I said.

"So what really happened?" Dorinda flat out asked. I looked at Ki to go ahead and tell them.

"Well the same girls who've been bullying her online were the ones to trip her up and push her down the stairs." Kierra said. All of their faces were surprised and then they softened their faces once they looked at Marsai.

"Awww pookie. I'm so sorry this happened to you." Mama K said. Marsai reached her arms out for a hug and Mama K happily obliged.

"So what's going on with her leg?" Jacky asked.

"Well it's broken and they've put a cast on it but we don't know how long she'll have to keep it on." I said.

Right when I said that, there was a knock on the door and the doctor appeared.

"Good morning everyone. I'm just here to speak about Marsai's leg." He said.

"Good morning." We all said back.

"Is everyone here family?" He asked looking around.

"Yes, you can tell us what's going on." Kierra responded.

"Okay good. So Ms. Marsai, you had quite a fall so we're going to need you in a cast for 3 months to heal. We performed surgery on you yesterday because the way you landed from the fall tore your ACL. Once the 3 months is up, you'll need a little physical therapy to gain strength back on your leg, but you will definitely make a full recovery." He said.

"So will I need a wheelchair or crutches to walk around?" Marsai asked.

"You won't need a wheelchair. Crutches are fine but don't stand for long periods of time. Always keep your leg elevated." He said.

"So about travel, is it okay if she's on planes?" I asked.

"I wouldn't have her on a flight for the first month or so and if she really has to travel, keep her leg elevated as best you can." He said.

"Okay thank you doctor." I said.

"How long will she have to be in the hospital?" Mama K asked.

"We'll need to keep her here another day just to make sure she knows how to walk properly with the crutches, and swap her cast for a permanent one." He said.

"Okay thanks so much, doc." I said, shaking his hand.

"Anytime, if you have any questions please let us know. A nurse will be here later to take you for the cast replacement." He said.

We thanked him again and he left the room.

"So what y'all gonna do about those girls? You know it's all over the Internet about this." Dorinda said.
