I've been watching the promise ring Rafus' gave me as I recalled what happened to us in the gazebo. It's been a week since we celebrated our first anniversary and I don't know if this promise ring I'm wearing has magic or something but damn it literally felt surreal.

We had dinner after we wore the promise rings to each other then making love in the gazebo took place.

"Kanina ka pa naghihintay rito?" Rafus asked me as soon as he entered the café.

He told me to go here and he'll just fetch me up after he finished some tasks given by his father.

I shook my head and smile. "No, kararating ko lang."

Rafus pulled a seat beside me and entwined our hands beneath the table. "Let's order something, shall we?"

"Okay," I agree before reaching the menu and voice my order.

Nagtawag si Rafus ng waiter para sabihin ang order namin at nagpaalam siya sa akin saglit para magbayad sa cashier. We just waited for about ten minutes before our order arrived and I automatically rolled my eyes because that familiar smirk slowly crept his face.

"Kasalanan mo 'to kung bakit ako kumakain ng kanin tuwing umaga."

"Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, of course I won't let you starve."

I glared at him and he just laughed at me. Sino ba kasing hindi magugutom sa umaga kung halos yata gabi-gabi ay pagod kaming dalawa?

"Stop staring like that. Alam mo na dati pa akong malakas kumain kaso nga lang iyong kaibahan ay hindi na ako tumataba ngayon."

He just nodded to agree with what I said but the smirk never left his face. "Yeah, I also noticed that. But you know, it's good to exercise."

I threw him the unused tissue that I crumpled. I don't know where did he got the guts to tease me until my cheeks burn crimson! Rafus really became shameless and too comfortable towards me. He really did change, he gather some friends and introduced me to them, he became commucative towards other people, and I saw how he respect and value his father.

"Where are we going after this?" I asked Rafus after guiding a spoonful food in my mouth.

"Remember the tree house I told you last time?"

That hit the bell on my system. I could clearly remember how he complimented that tree house and he wanted to bring me there so I could also see it.

Napainom ako ng tubig. "The tree house made by Clajj?"

Umasim ang mukha ni Rafus nang binanggit ko ang pangalan ni Clajj. I could remember his face when I told him that I used to have a crush on Clajj to the point that I daydream him serenading me with his guitar.

Pero hindi niya lang alam na mas palagi akong nagde-daydream sa kaniya, kung alam niya lang baka hindi niya kayanin.

"You're still jealous everytime you remember it? Come on baby, Clajj's not here and what I felt back then was just infatuation."

"Of course I know that, you won't make me your boyfriend if you're into someone."

"Wow, alam talaga ng number one crush ko kung saan siya lulugar," natatawa kong sabi na ikinailing niya habang nakangiti.

We left the café right after we finished eating breakfast and drove to the tree house Rafus' been wanting me to see.

Indeed, Rafus is always right. Clajj's tree house is amazing. Malaki siya at sa tingin ko ay kasya ang sampung tao. Malaki ang terrace at may sofa set. Iyong duyan ay hugis luha na gawa sa rattan at may malambot na upuan saka throw pillow sa loob.
