Kara's POV

I arrived at the floor to my dorm room, searching for the number displayed on my card. I felt really happy that I was finally exploring the rest of the normal human life on my own, thus a smile was on my face the whole walk through. Suddenly, I felt soft taps on my left shoulder, curious, I turned to look around and see a an African-American man around his 40's, he was medium build, around 6-foot tall, and had a smile plastered across his goatee.

"Excuse me, my son over there is really, I mean really interested in meeting you." He said pointing to a man standing awkwardly in the doorframe across the hall. He was tall and had a body fit for that of a... runner, a sexy one. Anyways, he had deep-forest green eyes, messy but cute brown hair, a handsome but also cute facial structure, and overall, for lack of a better term, hot. I know, I could be a little too observant, but right now gathering every little detail of his face just seemed right.

"Um- o-okay." I slowly walked to the door and put my hands together in a lock as I was really shy, I mean this guy was super-duper cute.

His eyes widened in shock as I was walking towards him, I could see him faintly mouthing a 'why?' to the person behind me who had greeted me previously, "Hi- umm- do you happen to know where 416 is?" I asked, starting up the conversation.

"Y-yeah, I think you're supposed to go left, down the hall and then it should be on the right." He responded.

"Thanks... Kara Kent." I greeted myself, smiling widely as I held out my hand.

"Barry... Barry Allen." He replied, shaking my hands his grip sent a jolt of lightning that was small but I felt it nonetheless. I don't know what the tiny shock was about apart from the fact it felt right to hold his hand, like his palms were just a plain fit for mines.

"Sorry, Joe can be a little teasy sometimes, I mean, I was staring at you- b-but not in a creepy way! I really didn't want to look at you, not that you don't look good or anything, I just thought that it would've been really weird and it is and- I- I should stop talking now." Barry's face now flushed.

I giggled at his nervous rambling, "It's fine, I forgive you." I replied, "even though you did nothing wrong." I thought to myself, slightly blushing at the memory, "Mind leading me the way?" I then asked.

He nods, "It's no problem." then smiling. He gestured for his dad, Joe, to come back in the room as he closes the door after, "C'mon." he says smiling making a hand gesture for me to come with. I smiled, nodded and went to walk down the hallways with him.

The walk was short and sweet, making small talks with this handsome guy. Barry Allen... I think I'm gonna know a lot more about him than meets the eye.
