3rd Person POV

Kara, watching musicals on the Kent's living room couch, was accompanying her foster mother that was fast asleep in the other room. After the loss of Jonathan Kent, she had to make Martha feel at least okay.

The girl was quietly singing along when out of the blue, she felt a small feeling of frustration. She didn't know why, but she felt like she wanted to throw her pillow at something.

So, she threw her pillow at something. The TV.

The thick item fell back, down onto the floor, cracking the screen in the process. Kara had her hands on her mouth.

The Kents wanted to buy a fireplace, but decided not to as they knew her daughter was an avid fan of watching the TV. Kara was thankful for this, right until now with the television laying on its back.

"Honey, what was that noise?" She heard Martha wake up and yell.

"Nothing, ma!" She quickly yelled back, pulling her hands away from her mouth. "B- but we might need to go to an electronics store soon." She added.

Meanwhile, Barry was in his bedroom at Joe's, doing his homework but couldn't properly solve it. He groaned in frustration as he tried to solve it again, only to be proven wrong after self-checking it.

"It shouldn't be this hard!" He whisper-yelled to himself. He glanced all over the room and stopped once he stared at his pencil.

'Perfect. Small but enough release for pent-up stress.' He thought to himself as he picked it up with his right index and thumb.

He throws it across the room from his desk, the utensil rapidly bouncing from one wall to another. After a few seconds, it bounced on the wall beside Barry's desk, on his right, to hit the — thankfully —  plastic cup sat on edge of the table. It quickly fell down along with the pencil as it spilled water all over the floor.

"Dang it." He muttered under his breath.

He grabbed some tissues from the far-right corner of his desk to clean it up when suddenly, he gets an idea. He threw the tissues onto the wet floor below, carelessly, taking in a subtle glance at it to make sure it was fully coated for the papers to absorb, he saw the pencil fully intact.

He then goes along with his idea, hastily grabbing his phone from the bed.

'What the hell happened?' Kara asked to herself, confused to why she suddenly did that. Her train of thoughts were interrupted as she heard her phone rang. Without batting an eye, Kara already knew it was Barry, either from how well she knows him or the weird feelings she had been getting.

Smiling widely, she took her phone into her hands and held it up to her ears. "Hey, Barr!"

"Someone's happy." Barry chuckled.

"Only from your voice... I kiiinda smashed my TV." She stated, getting embarrassed at the end.

"What."

"Yeah, I didn't know what came over me and I just had this urge to throw something." She rambled. "Have you ever felt like th-" She was interrupted by Barry.

"Wait, sorry, can you finish this sentence for me?" He asked.

"Umm... suuure." She replied, confused.

"Perfect. Small but-" He urged her to continue.

Kara felt as if she had somehow heard those words before as she continued, "Enough release-" Her mind told her to say.

"For pent-up-"

"Stress...... umm, Barry?"

"Kara, can you come over?" He cut her off again.

"Stop interrupting me!" She whined in a soft voice.

"Sorry, what were you gonna say?" Barry apologized.

"Can I come over?"

"That's what I said."

"It was? ... If Martha's asleep, I'll go." Kara paused to face the doorway but in doing so, sees her foster mother standing there.

Martha's eyes widened glancing at the mess, then to Kara as she smiled sheepishly before a gust of wind passes the mother, leaving her alone in the house.

•••••

A thump on a ceramic surface was heard by Barry. He somehow felt Kara's presence near. Confused by this, he peered over the window to the right of his desk to find his very cute girlfriend waving at him, smiling innocently.

Barry, shocked but happy nonetheless and without hesitation, unlatched the window's lock to open it, letting Kara through.

"Sorry for the rough landing, you didn't exactly have a spot to climb on." She apologized after she went in and Barry closing the window.

He chuckled, "You are so adorable." Smiling widely.

Kara only looked down, blushing furiously, playing with the hem of her pajama shirt. Her lips went in her mouth as she licked it, unknown to why it was so suddenly dry.

Barry, seeing this, lifted her chin up, making gentle contact to his girlfriend's lips with his. She smiled against his lips as it became more and more passionate by the minute.

"Hi." He now greeted, pulling away reluctantly after a few seconds more.

"Hi." She greeted back, grinning even larger. "So..."

"So, how are we getting each other's thoughts?" Barry asked. "Is it like a thing back on... Krypton?" He further asked, with hesitation on Kara's planet's name, not wanting to bring back any harsh memories for her.

"Umm, maybe... I think I've heard stories of people sharing each other's feelings." She replied, unfazed by the name of her planet which Barry was very relieved to notice. "But, I never knew they meant this." The girlfriend referred to her and Barry's relationship, taking his hands in hers.

"Well, I'm glad it is... 'cause I want to always show just how much I love you." He replied, looking down at their hands, smiling warmly, then back at Kara as she returned an even larger smile, the one that made her cheeks burn in joy.
