I will love you with my Heart and Seoul

Chapter Two

       I am enjoying the job so much and have become close friends with Soo Min.
       We have been hanging out and she has introduced me to some of her friends too! Everyone is so welcoming.
       The autumn in Seoul is almost as beautiful as the summer, although the temperature has lowered, it can be very hot here in the summer.
       I'm glad I missed most of that, being English, we are not used to the heat.

       The pace of the job is demanding, but I couldn't be happier. I am fulfilling a dream to use my Korean and doing what I set out to do......spread the English language.

       BTS are so busy, so I have not been around them much.
       PD Nim has me doing lots of behind the scenes work for the band, but it doesn't include spending any real amount of time with them.
       I have received texted requests from several of the members here and there on my work mobile (that's right, I have all their numbers and believe me I have dreamed every night of texting Namjoon to confess my feelings to him; and him responding that he is surprised, but happy that I have told him; because he has feelings for me too!).

       Then one evening, while I am sitting at home relaxing with Soo Min watching some romantic k-drama she has been talking about non-stop, I receive a call from PD Nim.
       That he needs me to go to the studio for the photo shoot that the boys are doing the next day, as an urgent meeting has come up that he cannot miss.
       He apologises for putting me in this position so early in my appointment, gives me the location and confirms he will email me the itinerary; then tells me he has every faith that I can handle it.
       I thank him profusely for the opportunity and promise I will not let Big Hit, or the boys down.

       Oh boy! I am so nervous this is a VERY big deal.
       Soo Min just sighs, "Lucky you, I wish I could spend some time with Hoseok and the boys."
       My eyes plead to her, "Help me," but she is in la la land dreaming of her crush.
       I smile at her and quip "You got it bad girl."
       She quickly replies with a yes and reminds me, "But no one can know, OK – Promise?"
       I gesture, zipping my mouth and telling her, "My lips are sealed."

       Now I have to get ready for the biggest day of my career so far. I have to impress the members and show them I can be trusted and am capable of handling their affairs.
       I have promised my bestie that I will FaceTime her tonight. She was so jealous when I told her about the job, but  was very happy for me.
       I now have a very early start. What should I do?

       I decided that I will speak to her but keep it brief.
       I go into my bedroom to get myself organised for the morning and whilst I am busy choosing my outfit for tomorrow, I open up my phone, click on her name and the facetime option.
       She quickly answers and is immediately throwing questions at me in quick fire succession.
       I answer all her questions as best I can, without giving too much away or compromising them in any way.
       She is stoked that I have met the boys and keeps asking about Yoongi (her bias) "What's he like?" "Is he just as gorgeous in real life?" "I bet he is, I can just tell". "Does he really sleep most of the time" "He is such a cute lil kitty."
       I tell her as much as I can as I know she is dying to hear all about him and I add that he is definitely more like August D than Min Yoongi, harsh and cold, but she doesn't believe it for one minute. They say love is blind!
       I apologise to her that I have to keep it brief as I have an early start in the morning, but keep quiet that I will be spending the day with BTS, she would definitely freak!

       Afterwards, I settle down to go through the documents the boss has sent, so I am across everything for tomorrow.

       The next morning, I head out early,
       I don't want to be late to the studio and I arrive long before BTS do.
       I liaise with the studio and have everything in place for them when they arrive. They greet me warmly and seem impressed that everything is ready for them.
       Coffee, tea, soft drinks, (sprite of course!), banana milk and snacks are all available.
       Breakfast and lunch is being provided by a caterer, which was already arranged, but has been checked and double checked.
       The make-up/styling team is set up and waiting for them when they arrive.
       I have everything running like clockwork.
      "Very well organised, well done," Jin compliments as he smiles at me and then turns his attention to his make-up artist.
       They are laughing and joking. I have not seen any of them this relaxed since we met.

       Yoongi silently slinks up beside me and startles me when he asks curtly, "What are you staring at?"
       He adds before I can reply. "Jin is taken, you know. Don't waste your time you won't get into his pants...He and Noona are an item and have been for a long time."

       I shoot a sideways glance at him, shocked. I reply, "Oppa you have completely the wrong idea...I was thinking how sweet they look together actually." But he's not listening to me as he just walks away. I am disappointed and speechless.

       "Huh, well that went well" I thought, scoffing at myself. "If he didn't like you before he probably hates you now and is totally convinced he was right all along!"

       My first attempt at managing, other than that little incident, was going really well.    
       The boys are all kept entertained, fed and watered to their hearts desire, whilst they wait for their turn; and the photos are looking fantastic.
       The group photos are amazing!!!
       While scrolling through them on the screen I came across one picture of Namjoon that I just completely swooned over. Wishing it sat on the table next to my bed to wake up to every morning.
       It is quite sultry, using his perfect hands to hide a part of his face, but that wink! He is the epitome of hotness. It makes my heart flutter.

       Later in the afternoon as the final shots are being taken and the boys are unwinding from the hectic schedule of the day and getting ready to head off, Namjoon comes over to where I am standing and thanks me for creating a successful shoot.

      "I'll admit," he said, "I was a little worried when PD Nim told us you would be overseeing the shoot today, but you have coped amazingly well and we've never had such a smoothly executed schedule."
       I smile, and blush I am sure, as he continues.
      "You have anticipated all our whims and requirements. The food provided was excellent and to have got my coffee exactly right you deserve a gold star." With a smile.
       I am literally speechless.
       As he began to walk away coffee cup in hand, he turns back to me with a cute smile and adds, "I will be sure to let PD know how well you did today, thank you."

       I didn't say a thing. I stood there like a statue while he was paying me a compliment. I feel like a complete idiot.
       I decided to thank him by text and explain that I was shocked that he took the time to speak to me and thank me as I was only doing my job.
       He didn't answer! To say I was disappointed was the understatement of the year. Oh, I hope I didn't offend him by reacting dumbfounded when he spoke to me?

       I need not have worried (but I did).
   
       A few days later I was called into PD Nim's office.
       I knocked on the door and waited to be invited in. "Come in" I heard him call.
       I opened the door to a rapturous round of applause from seven beautiful men and Mr Bang, my amazing boss.
       When the clapping died down, he began, "RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jungkook have something they would like to say to you; and I thought it would be appropriate for this to be done in my presence."

       To my surprise it was Jungkook who stepped forward with a shy smile on his face, "Noona, we would all like to congratulate you on behalf of Big Hit for the impression you have made; the studio have complimented you for your professionalism to your duties, they were so impressed they contacted the company to praise you and this must be acknowledged."
       He then put down the piece of paper he was holding, with what he should I say I suspect, and added looking directly at me smiling widely,  "And we would like to thank you for making the day run smoothly and looking after us so well. Your attention to detail was amazing. Well done and welcome to the team."
