Jin oppa's birthday is on 4th December. We celebrate it with the boys and staff singing "Happy Birthday" to him and presenting him with a cake.
His parents have sent him a message and gift, which he will open in private later, because this little celebration is captured on camera as they are filming more content for ARMY.
I get a call from my bestie a little while later.
She is almost shouting down the phone to me, "I saw you on Jin's birthday clip on the internet."
A little confused, I answer, "Don't be ridiculous."
She excitedly replies, "Your face was blurred out but I could tell it was you, honestly."
I have to admit, "Oh ok, well I was there, but I never thought for one minute that I was anywhere near a camera," as I laugh loudly.
She squeals down the phone, almost bursting my eardrum with excitement.

The fanbase is now global and Big Hit are holding meetings, inviting ideas for moving forward with the group.
They are in big demand, keeping their schedule manageable is becoming a full-time job.
We are juggling guest appearances and shows trying to keep them in the spotlight. Now we have the world at their feet we cannot drop the ball.
They are quickly becoming global sensations, the biggest boy band in history and we want to keep it that way.
Above all, I want to keep them sane. So, through it all, I support them wholeheartedly; whatever they need.

Of course, we make time to celebrate Christmas as a team whilst on our travels, but I know the boys are sad that they are not able to be with their families again.
Although they all give the group 100% and this is their other family, I also feel their pain, as I am thousands of miles away from my own family and sympathise with them completely.
I make sure to talk to them all and give plenty of support, also ensuring that they have all made time to contact their loved ones or arranged to spend some time chatting with or meeting them somehow.
I know Jungkook especially struggles with this, so I try to make some extra time for him. This has been his reality since he was just fifteen.

This is a time when Namjoon would usually be the backbone, but he also misses special people and I don't think he should shoulder all this by himself.
I have only missed one Christmas.
They have been 100% committed to the BTS cause for 4/5 years and I am sure they have missed many special family occasions that they really would have loved to have been a part of.

Still in high demand they are appearing on TV shows, making 'Bangtan Bombs' and ensuring the fans are kept in contact with them as much as possible.
It's humbling to watch these boys make their fans a priority.

We celebrate V's birthday, although filming again, a cake arrives and some of them slip off to decorate it and surprise him whilst they are in the practice room.
Their tradition of giving cakes is so sweet and they always make sure it's a big surprise; when the birthday boy least expects it to happen.
It brings a little bit of home here for them.

Then it's New Years, and we all look forward to what 2018 will bring for the company and the guys.
As part of the new year celebrations, they perform DNA Live on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve show.
This Finishes 2017 in style and 2018 is definitely starting with a bang!

It's January 5th and we are sharing their first video of the year on their YouTube account, a behind-the-scenes episode from the Melon Music Awards held last month.
I am with them when it goes out and the air is thick with tension and excitement.
Namjoon pulls me to a quiet corner and voices his concerns. "I hope this is well-received, this is such a big deal for us," He continues, "I don't know why but this seems different, more important almost."
I assure him that it will be great, and he has nothing to worry about. I have never seen him this nervous in the four months I have known him, he always seems so confident and in control.
I can see why he was made BTS leader, he has that certain quality. It's god damn hot!
He is as beautiful as ever, such a gentleman, as we talk; he brushes a stray strand of hair off my face with his graceful index finger.
As he thanks me for my help smiling and he looks into my eyes just for a brief second.
I have butterflies at his touch; but then it's over as quickly as that and I wonder to myself if I imagined it.
