I looked down at my watch and saw that we still had about fifteen minutes for the interview. I don't think Willow's reached here.
"Damn it," Tori cursed, pulling me back from my mental self-debate.
"What happened?"
"My favorite table is taken. See," she pointed at the front table on the left side behind us. "The view from here is so great and relaxing."
I wheeled to have a better view and saw a girl sitting alone while sipping onto her coffee. She was looking outside the window, so it became hard to see her face properly.
"Then let's ask her if she's willing to trade the table for a little while?" I suggested.
Tori nodded, "Yeah, let's give it a try."
We strode towards the girl with short hair, and she did sense our presence right behind her.
"Excuse me?" I spoke gently, causing her to look up at me right away.
Good Heavens. Who is this woman?
I don't know why but as she stared up at me, her hazel eyes enlarged in astonishment.
"Uh... Wade Samuels?"
This time, it was my turn to be surprised, much more than she was, "Willow Sterling?"
Hearing that name, she gave me a bright smile, which dented her cheeks, "Yes, that's me."
Goodness, her dimpled smile is... something.
"You're Willow?" Tori asked again, fortunately giving me a reason to look away.
Willow gave another heartwarming smile of hers with a light chuckle, "Yes, really. I'm Willow Sterling to whom you offered the writer's job at PRIZM. If you don't believe, I can show you the messages - "
"No, no," I finally spoke up, smiling at her. "I know it's you."
"How did you know it's me?"
"Uh, since you're the only young woman here."
"How did you know that Willow is a young lady?" Tori questioned this time.
"Because she's mentioned her age in her blog," I quickly stated. "Now, if the questions are done, can we start the business talk?"
"Sure. Please have a seat," said Willow.
I sat on the chair opposite to her's that was close to the large window, while Tori sat beside me.
"This is the best table you chose. Thanks for saving it," Tori said to Willow with a smile.
"Oh, I know that. This is mine and my best friend's first-best table. We always come early to get this one."
"By the way, I'm Tori. PRIZM team member, the caretaker of catering services."
"Oh, wow," Willow extended her hand towards Tori. "It's so nice to meet you."
"Same at ya," said Tori as she shook hands with her, making her laugh.
Her laugh is so freaking sweet. Never thought she would be this... charming. She has such a vibrant aura, it's crazy. I wonder if she's aware of that.
"Willow," I called, gaining her attention, "now you can tell me openly what you think about the job. My team and I have already looked through your CV that you sent, work experience, portfolio, and believe you have the potential for this job. But I would like to know your opinions, now that we've finally met in person."
A soft sigh escaped her mouth as she looked up at us, "I absolutely love this job and wish to be a part of it. I mean, I'm almost confirmed that I'm willing to join your amazing team. And you're offering me the job to write, something that I'm highly passionate about. I wouldn't want to miss this opportunity."
