I drove across the road towards the car and saw it was dented from the front. Pulling mine just behind it, I got out of the car and stuffed myself in the circle that the people had created. I saw the driver and quickly approached him.

"Are you Mr. Jeffery Turner's driver?"

The driver seemed reluctant but nodded, "Yes. How did you – "

"Where's Liam Turner?"

He blinked in surprise, "Who are you?"

"I'm..."I trailed off. Goodness, what to say now. "I'm Liam's sister."

"Lady, you think I'm crazy? I'm already in quite a situation here," He looked least interested.

Just then, a head popped out of the car's backseat window beside me, making me jump.

"My sister?"

The source of the voice was the little boy peeking out and looking up at me, with rectangular glasses and dirty blonde, wavy hair.

It's Liam.

A broad grin formed over his face, reddening his cheeks, "I have a big sister!?"

He's so excited to know that.

"I don't think she is," said the driver, getting a glare from me.

"Oh, really? Let's see then who's right, Mr. Driver. Call Mr. Jeffery Turner right now and put it on speaker," I demanded challengingly.

The driver scoffed, "Of course, I have to."

Soon I'll be the one laughing at ya, thick head.

He contacted a number that said 'Mr. J. Turner' and pressed the speaker option. The call was answered instantly with a shaky Mr. Turner speaking.

"Is Liam alright? Is Tasha there?"

"Uh, no sir. It's not the woman as per the picture you sent. However," the driver looked at me warily. "There's a woman here claiming to be Liam's sister."

"What?"

"It's Willow. I'm here," I quickly spoke up, not giving the freaky driver another chance to speak. "Mom wasn't able to come, and I was just passing by here. She asked me to pick Liam up."

There was a brief pause from Mr. Turner's side, confusing me.

"Hello?" I said.

"Huh, knew you were lying, lady," the driver again mocked me.

"How dare you, you freakin' weird –"

"Willow?" I was stopped by Mr. Turner's voice.

"Yes. Willow Sterling...?"

Don't tell me he's forgotten already.

"Sterling? And you call yourself his sister?" said the driver, angering me even more. AS I was about to set his straight, he quickly turned his face and began speaking, "Sir, she is clearly lying."

The nerve of this freak!

"Shut up, Dave. Willow is indeed Liam's elder sister and my elder daughter."

After hearing that, the look of the stupid driver's face and mine were now switched. While he stared at me in bafflement, I was smiling triumphantly.

"Your driver thinks I've been lying this whole time, Mr. Turner. He knows about mom but not me?"

"That's because I didn't send him your picture because I had no idea you would be coming for Liam."

And I didn't know I have a step-brother. What an interesting twist.
