"So I guess it's done?"
"It's done," I agreed with a smile.
"Great! See you at the party then," he said, waving me goodbye.
I waved back into my cellphone screen, "See you there, Wade."
After the day when we filmed the video of giving the special invites to people, the very next they at night, Wade face timed me to ask something. Since the costume party is a partner-based one, he wanted to ask me if I would like to go with him as a friend. I didn't take much time to agree as we both were the only ones left. Tori was going with Cara, Ben would be coming with Henry, Daisy with her husband, Lexi with Tanner, Min with River, and Kim was bringing her own partner. Through face timing, we also decided what characters we will be dressing up as; Wanda and Vision.
We are both massive fans of the Marvel Universe, and so thought that Wand and Vision would be the best ones for us. I have always wanted a chance to be Wanda Maximoff and I cannot explain how jumpy I am! I cannot even imagine how Wade's going to look as Vision. And how would I look like as Wanda? I am so excited to see my final look. I just hope I don't make a fool out of myself at the party.
So, to get ourselves the perfect costumes for the PRIZM pride event, Cara, Ben, and I decided to go to the mall and shop. Cara and Ben took a day off for the same. Tori would be joining us too as she was in Manhattan to meet her family. Ben had already done his shopping with Henry but he was there to accompany us. Especially me since we already figured that Tori and Cara would be needing their own alone time. He told us what he and Henry would be dressing up as; Ben as the Winter Soldier, Bucky, and Henry as Kristoff.
The four of us reached the mall together but separated in pairs after buying a few items. Shopping for a costume party isn't that easy. Shopping itself isn't, it's quite a headache for me sometimes. However, I was pumped up for this one because I adore Wanda. Not to forget her sassy and smart costume. I was having a hard time deciding which look of Wanda's to go with; the overcoat one or the full superhero suit one. It all depended on the availability factor.
"Although you're gonna look badass in either costume, believe me, you're gonna rock that Scarlet Witch's updated suit!"
I laughed, "Yeah, actually I'm willing to get that one only."
We looked around the mall for another one hour while gathering a few accessories and asking for the costume. However, with our stomachs gurgling loudly, screaming for us to stop and eat, we decided to listen to it. We went to Starbucks, ordered the food of our respective liking, and sat on the high chairs table. Our order was finally served to us and we didn't waste any time digging in.
"Umm. This is Heaven!" Ben exclaimed as he chewed onto his snack.
"Haha, we're already so hungry the this tastes even better than we thought!" Ben just nodded as a response, not bothering to speak. "It's so surprising to see Cara finally getting the attention and care she deserves, no?"
